maybe found a bug

so im not sure if this is a bug or not but the ability poison arrow is only proc'ing the weapon enchant on the first hit and it's a damage overtime it's not proc'ing it at all afterwards. i did some testing and volly works perfectly fine with the enchant but only poison arrow seems to have a problem

In my experience, Venom Arrow never proc's an enchantment from the DoT. The only abilities that trigger enchantments off the DoT ticks are; Volley, Wall of Elements, Stampede (Morph of Critical Charge), and Blade Cloak. Restoration Staff and One Hand and Shield are left out in the cold on this mechanic as well.

It's not a weapon ground dot, so it will not proc from the dot, same with Destro Touch, Carve or Twin Slashes, but these will proc enchants on the direct portion of it.

Venom Arrow is working as intended. @robpr is accurate in their description.

Unrelated to the main post, but I think you can scribe a skill for 1H&S now that will proc enchantments over time - if you use the "lingering torment" signature script, you'll get 10 seconds. Granted, doesn't last as long as the pure damage weapon skills and the enchantment will be half strength, but for some unusual build it might be worth considering?

This post makes me remember at some point they made a combat change where the dots from weapon abilities procced enchants. And entire community make Oblivion damage enchants. It was hilarious and the change got reverted within weeks.

True, I did not mention scribing abilities because I was not sure, but if memory serves me accurately, they do.

It's also strange @ZOS_Kevin that Blade Cloak is not a ground DoT but both morphs will proc enchantments, but on Two Hander you've only got one morph of Critical Charge that does. Maybe consider giving Brawler a slight pulse of damage, similar to Blade Cloak, in order to have two options for Two Hander?

"Sticky" DoTs don't seem to proc glyphs because I don't think they recalculate with every tick. Whereas AoE DoTs seem to recalculate every tick because enemies can walk in and out of them. And that recalculate on tick seems to be what procs enchant, not the tick itself.

That's why I suggested giving Brawler a pulse similar to Blade Cloak, since that morph doesn't have a sticky DoT. It doesn't have any DoT just the shield. A pulse that applies 1 tick of damage every 2 seconds would be sufficient to proc the enchantment.
