Assassination with its excessive crit and massive WD shows up in all 170k+ parses (so far I’ve seen storm calling / herald of the tome / assasination, animal companion / assasination / herald of the tome, grave lord / assassination / herald of the tome at >170k, the beaming one being the lowest among them). Beam and GLS only show up in one such combination. The large outlier is really assasination, not grave lord, with its massive crit and weapon damage buff plus very strong proc if you decide to use it.So instead of changing fatecarver to not benefit from grave lord's sacrifice, or nerfing the skill itself etc you nerf the least problematic skill out of the 175k beam arcanist parses??? I can't see arcanist nerfs in the patch note so this has to be a joke, right?

And in herald of the tome: the big reason to take it is the unique damage taken buff in an environment where you’re already high on weapon damage, stamina, crit, crit damage, and damage done. Beam is a secondary thing that pairs well with grave lord, but is not a must have.
So yes, tuning down assasination a notch is really needed to limit the power creep. It will probably need a bit more tuning down the buff to get builds into the <160k range. But this is a step in the right direction.

If anything GLS needs complete rework, and double bow thing shouldnt ever seen a light of day. 10 stacks of merciless isnt that problematic thought, bigesst problem is the ability to store two specbows for insane burst.
Specbow needs either a cooldown, or drain all of the stacks on cast. Maybe increase damage and healing slightly for each stack over five, double shot is the thing most people upset about.

They only nerfed the cross-healing part, self-healing actually was buffed.lPeacekeeperl wrote: »Zyaneth_Bal wrote: »usually we don’t expect any balance changes at all.
Unfortunately that does not stop them from nerfing other classes, like only one good wardens heal.
This .1 patchnotes are a joke
