Make Armory slots account-wide

Subclassing will bring much more room for experimentation and tools. While previously you could be fine with just two slots (I, for example, had "blank" template to build other roles and my main one for quick access), now one character can differ very much based on the role - Tanks would subclass away all their dd/heal lines and vice versa.
In this state (it was before too, but especially now) buying character-wide slots to have different presets of subclasses is unreasonable.
I think this move would make subclassing much more enjoyable for people, because they would be able to switch roles on the fly at home, without having to respec subclasses separately every time
While we're at it, since you're resetting Ulfsild, it would be nice to have ability to save different Scribing abilities as well

I liked how SWTOR handled this type of transaction. You could buy character bound slots (outfit etc) with credits (gold) but if you used Cartel Coins (crowns) the slot was permanent and account wide for all of your toons on every server.

yes, this would be good, 1500 crowns just for one char is really bad

With the latest changes to Ehlnofey that will make Trample ultgen mandatory on healer specs, I want to bring people's attention to this part again. There should be a way to quickly change Scribing abilities without reapplying them every time on altar. Especially since it will be a part of base game and more people will interact with it

If armory slots were account-wide, I would have bought multiple already, if not all. Since they're not and I have more than 1 toon, I haven't bought a single one

Apparently they sell fine as they are, otherwise they would had changed it years ago - back when it was first asked. However I would image they would sell it a lot more if they would make the change.

I know I'm so cheap I'm not going to bother with stuff that wont give me account wide benefits and I'm fine with that.

it is the main reason I don't bother with the armory system.

    Agree, across 20 characters it's a lot

Armory slots are discounted to 850 Crowns for all players this week. It's something at least.

Do you mean like, if I have a Templar and subclass a Warden and Nightblade skill lines, then save it in Armory, I could then load the same setup on my Warden and my Nightblade? Not sure what the benefit would be. What would I gain with that?

They mean if you have 2 slots on every character and you buy 1 you now have 3 on each character for whatever, not just 3 on one character and 2 on the rest.

As stated above by Maitsukas but with more detail: Armory slots are on sale, a whopping 43% saving, 850 per slot. And if you bought crowns during the crown sale that is a further reduction (mine would be another 40% off-ish) down to 510 crowns per slot. Not bad!

Oh, I still want the number of Armory slots to increase from 10 to 15 or 20 per character.

I agree, it would be nice to have armory slots account wide, but I have only one character, so not really an issue with me, but I support you for account wide armory slots. My interest is to increase the number of slots per character to 15 or 20, with subclassing it will easy the number of different builds I can save.

Even that price for character-wide slots is still like a scam. Shame that this temporary sale was enough to sway people away from the issue. For someone who has 1-2 characters maybe that's fine, for people who actively play with many character in different roles that's unreasonable

They would have to be practically free for me to buy them as is, per character. If they operated account-wide, similarly to the inventory pets, I would snap up many in a heartbeat, just like I did those pets.

As much as I’d love for it to happen, I doubt it ever will (just look at outfit slots for proof). I’d be thrilled if armory slots could at least let us save equipment in our builds—that’s something that can and should happen.

I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

Yea and outfit slots. One time I bought an extra outfit slot. Then it was only for one character ahaha. Never again. Never bought a armory slot because of it.
I have no will left to help with lag until high action per minute devs play via a vpn from Asia or Oceania to NA and live stream thier experience of thier actions being declined by the server because they are out of frame.
