When will Americans learn that they are not the only country in the world. There is a large percentage of the world, including the EU and the Commonwealth that believe in Public Holidays.

Thanks for checking the ******* so I don't have to, much appreciated.

Would be nice if they would post the updates to bluesky too... No one uses x anymore, it's an abandoned platform with bots and trolls.

I've been playing this game for around 8 years. And it's the same every Easter and other public holidays. If it's not an American public holiday they don't care.

Been playing since the start can confirm this is true

In fact a number of years they have cared, and moved the maintenance from Monday to Wednesday; I want to remember that last year they did it on very short notice (like, getting reminded that Easter Monday is a thing on Friday after the banner had already gone up).

They just seem to forget from year to year and this time no one reminded them so it must be our fault I guess.

Not the considerate decision, in my humble opinion.
Some players might be planning to catch up with Golden Pursuit, during a day off, because of Easter holiday.
Well... Bebaj-var. what is done is done. :(

just upsetting to not had any prepared awareness for any server downtime. for a 5 hour long one. and its still not clear what its for right?

a wonder they couldn't of had a more formal forum post or X post much earlier in the day at least and detail the maintenance in correct EDT time zone and for how long and the reason for it. instead of a less clear only start time message on launcher

It's funny because when I said there should not be maintenance for Juneteenth, I got a bunch of people saying this same thing. They didn't even care it meant that ZOS employees wouldn't get it off.

Anyway, I think they could have moved the maintenance window. I understand that they could not do it for every Holiday in the world. But some of the biggest ones for the biggest segments of the playerbase seems doable imo. I hope they do better by y'all next year since this a recurring thing.

I kind of pointed that out in the first reply in this thread: It was a holiday, and a reply should not be expected for that reason.
I do not think it is an American issue since most things shut down for this holiday.
