Where's the announcement on the forum? Launcher gives out, but the forum post is not.

Otherwise: ZOS please get a list of public holidays in your very major markets outside America. Monday is a public holiday!

Maintenance announcements are posted a couple days in advance, this may be the first time they forgot to do it!

Maintenance announcements go up every Friday evening, whether there is going to be some or not. It is also highly unusual for there to be maintenance on a national holiday.

I suppose it could be an automated launcher update that's wrong, but it would be useful to get formal confirmation one way or another, and if it is a routine downtime during a long holiday weekend that's poor planning for both players and staff.

These unscheduled maintenances, especially on holiday weekends, typically mean fixing a new critical bug/cheat/exploit. It happens... /shrug

Could be that ... or could be linked to the supposed release of Oblivion Remastered tomorrow (or this week)

What it has to do with ESO ? Well, on the leaked Oblivion's deluxe edition picture, how some of the deluxe content is displayed reminded me of how TESO display it's own deluxe/pre-order content, like exclusive armors/mounts.

So MAYBE Oblivion's Deluxe (once again, IF it's real and release tomorrow/this week) have cosmetics for TESO and they have to do a surprise maintenance for that.

My apologies as I figured it would be obvious as to why OP should not expect a response to this thread until Monday.

To make it clear, They are not in the office. They are off for the holiday weekend. Heck, many businesses, but not all, that are typically open on Sundays are closed today.

So again, while a reply today may happen, it is highly unlikely due to the high number of holy days.

Glad I could clear that up.

Oh, and the post in the launcher may have been in error—another possibility.

Well, it looks like I am going to be playing something else tomorrow. I only had one day of this holiday weekend where I was actually going to get a decent amount of time to play ESO and that was tomorrow.

Nope, they've skipped quite a bunch, especially, when the event ends, but in those cases, posted the "No maintenance week of X" banner.

But dude, this game has had maintenance every Monday for years.
The absence of a warning banner on the forum, for once, doesn't mean that this time it's different. When it is, they put up a banner saying "maintenance will be on Tuesday," for example, but now you're complaining for nothing.

But dude, this game has had maintenance every Monday for years.

Maintenance is usually every two weeks, not one and they have in the past moved maintenance to not be on Easter Monday since it's a public holiday for a large part of the EU. I don't think it's unreasonable to be confused.

MOST (as in, you would have a hard time finding those who don't) people and businesses in US use *ST when it's *DT. And then if people miss some appointment because of that, insist it's not their fault because everyone should have known.

... Especially funny when it was MST.

There are reasons to be confused, even if they often perform maintenance on Mondays: no maintenance banner this weekend, AND this is a public holiday weekend in many English-speaking countries. There are reasons for and against why there might or might not be maintenance today. We'll find out in 23 minutes.

There's in-game announcement, too.

But actually, the big reason this is a problem is: how LONG is the maint? Can be 2 hours, can be 12, no one knows.

I've been playing this game for around 8 years. And it's the same every Easter and other public holidays. If it's not an American public holiday they don't care.
