Features
- Intercharacter Trading: Post your characters at a banker, and be able to use the banker to trade between the inventories of your two characters without having to use bankspace to do so.
- Research Ease: Be able to craft trait research items that can be stored in the craft bag, letting you research traits on your other characters without using a lot of inventory space. Also tradable.
- Add at least a 0.1 second cast time to all instant abilities so they can't be 5 cast in 0.2 seconds anymore. Only cheaters can use them like that. Its a pain to deal with in PvP. And even with a 0.1s cast time, they should still function relatively the same, such as not disabling block when cast. And weaveable. It'll just put an end to certain cheaters. Common players shouldn't feel any difference.
World
- Astral Tree
- (It's mostly just QoL abilities.)
- Ultimate: Temporal Anchor: Place somewhere. While active, dying returns you to the anchor instead. Can only have one at a time. Has a limited radius (about 30 meters). May grant Major Protection while slotted, potentially on either bar.
- Active: Spectral Image
- Cast like Lightning Splash.
- You summon a spectral image. The spectral Image can take agro of nearby enemies.
- When you look at a spectral image, you can recast to teleport to the spectral image, while within range. This can be used to get back on your alliance base tower in imperial city.
- Like a less combat effective Shadow Image that can be placed up there after it expired before you could return to it. More like prismatic light than shadow though. To enemies, it looks just like the user.
- May be able to have up to 3 at a time.
- Passive: Area Loot
- When you interact with containers, you send out spectral images to loot other containers nearby the initial interact point, consolidating area loot. These Images are invisible to anyone except yourself.
- Either passive or active: Ranged Interact
- Passive: Can interact with items from range, sending a spectral image to interact in your stead. It can still cause you to accumulate bounty if it's doing an illegal action (lockpicking, pickpocketing, assassination, etc.)
- Active: Cast at a distant interactable object to interact with it from range. While crouching, you see its detection on its ability button. Interacting with a usable door or with an ally's multirider mount can cause you to teleport.
- Werewolf Update
- Convert the nonberserk morph into the base version of the ability, add the two buffs to berserk, and the other morph into an area heal that for self has no additional effects compared to base. This would allow for Werewolf Healers, to a point.
- Allow Werewolves to sneak/prowl.
- Perhaps add more abilities to werewolves, potentially even opening up a second werewolf bar for barswapping in werewolf form to use all the new abilities.
- Breach, morph can taunt
- Reveal/Hunt
- With Barswap, split carnage and pounce.
- Prowl?
- Speed Boost (Expedition) (Werewolf form of Falcons Swiftness / Rapid Maneuver / Etc)
- Ravish: Cannot be cast against those immune to CC. Pin a target and tear into them, execute dps. It does not proc CCI when it ends, and prevents Break Free for 1 second.
- Has special animations for some creatures. Animations can vary depending on CCI and creature. Trying to cast against someone who has CCI causes an evasion animation from them as they dodge the attack. Animals have unique animations when hit by it. Kills have a different animation or finishing animation. Kills may autocast devour or have brief similar effects, and apply a brief immobility so it isn't accidentally cancelled immediately if it is Devour. On second thought, it's just a one or half second devour that doesn't consume the devour corpse effect, allowing to truly devour later.
- Vampire
- Let's just leave this one as is for now. Community is divided over how it works. Some want more Skyrimlike, others like it as is, others prefer the old. I'm on the Skyrim boat. I like the Vampiric Grip Scion Power. And the hover-walk toggling. Could be a barswap thing, where one bar is magic and has the hand powers and the other bar is talons and has the blood powers. Eh, going on about Skyrim to ESO again. Let's just leave it as is for now.
- New Curse: Lich
- Different Form but similar to Molag Bal's. Miridian or Azuran probably. Or non-daedric.
- Hovering Appearance
- Lich Chains
- Lich Crystals
- Other Lichy Powers
Class or Curse?
- Possession
- Have the ability to possess weakened opponents, or even activate like assassination against non-weakened opponents. Get to play as any NPC this way.
- Cannot use against bosses.
- May be able to use against weakened challenging foes.
- Either purely synergy, or a slotable ability that glows when targeting a possessable target.
- I'm dying to play as a Grievous Twilight. This would literally be the only logical way. Can't play as their race. And polymorphs don't carry their abilities or talons. This would be the only way.
- Or a Gryphon
- Etc
- Shapeshifter
- No, not werewolf. Shapeshifter can take on any form temporarily. Animagus.
- I do like how that Harry Potter game has the Animagus shapeshift. Looks fun. I wish there was something similar here. But the big question: Is it even lore capable? Or does it conflict too much with the Hircene thing, especially if wolf transformation is among the powers?
- Powers:
- Bear
- Salamander
- Indrik
- Haj-Mota (Ult)
- Etc.
- Each may have their own internal powers and unique dodge and block mechanisms.
- Wraith Possessed
- Fans of Shadow Of Mordor / Shadow Of War will love this
- Ability: Drain/Brand/MindControl
- Channeled Ability
- Common Target: Stun them and channel the drain for 1 second. They are stunned while you are channeling. Ignores CCI. Can be dodged or blocked.
- Offbalanced or Stunned from another source: Channel for 0.25-0.3 seconds.
- Effects: Deals Damage, heals self, if it kills it also restores the target to full health after converting them to an ally.
- Has friendly fire vs branded targets, but prioritizes enemies. Killing a branded target with this causes their head to explode, causing nearby enemies to Fear.
- Wraith Run: Expedition with a phantom after image
- Wraith Flash: Stun enemies in an area, can temporarily blind them too.
- Wraith Freeze: Petrify. Light attacks against the target have a unique animation and are faster, and after a certain combo has a finishing attack with an execute scaler.
- Wraith Evasion (passive): Dodging through a humanoid target causes you to Vault over them and freeze them. Bosses are immune to this effect.
- Wraith Bolt (passive): quickly activating and deactivating block causes you to throw a phantom dagger, dealing ranged magic light attack damage. If you have a ranged weapon, this instead swings a phantom sword to do magic melee damage.
- Wraith Blast (passive): Once every (cooldown), your bash hits in a cone. (May or may not stack with similar effects.)
Classes
- Druid
- 3 forms of Green Balance for damage, heal, and tanking.
- Animal Companion (Ranger?)
- 3 forms of Animal Companions: Heal, Damage, Tank
Weapons and Weapon Skill Trees
- Spear (Spear Tree, may count as Polearms)
- Long Weapons / Polearms
- Throwing Weapons (twohanded classification, appear like dual wield) (Abilities may be similar to Bow)
- Throwing Knife (like sword)
- Kunai (like dagger)
- Throwing Hammer (like Mace)
- Throwing Axe / Hatchet (like Axe)
- Chakram (Bouncing Weapon)
- Tower Shield
- Similar to Shield, but more defense, slower brace maneuvering, and cannot shield rush.
- Buckler
- Some styles in the game seem more like Bucklers than average shields. Bucklers would have less defense but allow more maneuverability.
- Bard (Use of Magical Instruments to cast musical spells)
- Enchanted Lute
- Enchanted Flute
- Enchanted Drum
- Enchanted Fiddle
- Etc
- Funny: Apothecary (Alchemical Weapons) (Crafts like weapons but at an alchemy station) (Stamina Based for the most part) (Hey, this could be the Stamina Healer weaponry!)
- Restorative Apothecary: Healer
- Harmful Apothecary: DPS
- Buff Apothecary: Tank/Support
- Potential Abilities
- Puddle: Chuck a flask upon the ground to leave an effect on the ground. Effect is determined by flask weapon. Either Healing puddle, acid puddle, or a buff/debuff puddle.
- Restorative: Cast to throw a healing flask at an ally, or use one if you have no ally target.
- Weaken: Breach ability
- Annoy: Taunt with DoT: Throw a flask at an opponent that covers them in a substance that eats away at them. (Like Acid). You take agro (taunt). (DoT is weak. It's mostly a taunt.) (If flinch was a thing, this would cause a lot of flinch.)
- Fabled Brewmaster Ability: Potions of Shrinking.
- Ward Staff / Alteration
- Mostly various forms of applying Damage Shields.
- Can apply a damage shield to self via fully charged heavy attack (like Ice TroFocus)
- Improves Bracing (like Ice Anient Knowledge)
- is all about wards and armor, has nothing to do with offensive capability. Unlike Ice Staff.
- One ability could be like the Firesong Druid flamecircle of shielding, but perhaps without the flame.
- Conjuration Staff
- Various Summoning Abilities. Hits the pet cap swiftly.
- Some may be criminal acts.
- Necrotic Staff
- Raise Zombies, swifter revives, buff undead allies, etc.
- Criminal Acts for most abilities
- Defiling attacks
- Another ability could be the Realmshaper's healing channel.
- Magic Stones
- Onehanded versions of Staves. May be able to merge various abilities. Or have its own tree designed for combo abilities. Perhaps multiple skilltrees.
- Dual of the same stone counts like the staff, just with different animations because hands not staff.
Wishful Thinking: New Races, maybe even a Mercenary Faction (Gets no competitive progress in PvP zones but is effectively safe except from nonfaction npcs.)
These would come with unique chats in most areas. Bewilderment, hatred, confusion, etc.
Btw: I hate races becoming polymorphs. I feel it doesn't properly represent the race. You have a ton of Minotaurs in town but they are treated like high elves and redguards. That doesn't properly represent how a Minotaur would really be treated if it was allowed into the society. Same for Dremora, etc.
- Faun
- Minotaur
- Maormer
- Nereid (sprinting and dodging are magicka)
- Funny: Lamia
- Goblin
- I feel like I might be forgetting some?
- Another Funny: Conjuration of the Prophet
- Fire Atronach
- Fire Behemoth
- Storm Atronach
- Frost Atronach
- Iron Atronach
- Plant Atronach (Mirelurk)
- Etc
- Dremora
Subraces (also wishful thinking)
- Some Races could use Subraces, which influence character creation and may influence racial passives.
- List
- Minotaur
- Warrior (Martial)
- Shaman (Magic)
- Khajiit (Not much effect on passives probably, just minor differences in character creation and the styles/animations used (digitigrade vs plantigrade).)
- Tojay
- Tojay-Raht
- Cathay (default)
- Cathay-Raht (default)
- Suthay
- Suthay-Raht
- Dagi
- Dagi-Raht
- Pahmar
- Pahmar-Raht
- Argonian
- Common
- Naga (Blackwood. Minor Head differences compared to common.)
