Just want to be clear here, while we know the change in the drop rate from the hotfix is frustrating, we were returning the drop rate to be inline with previous Anniversary Jubilee events.

I do not doubt ZOS_KEVIN's honesty, but I might suggest that a little up tune for drop rates would be a welcome thing.

I just opened approx. 100 anniversary boxes after doing my daily crafting and only got few furnishing recipes worth 2-5K gold and 2-4 gold materials of which 2 was tempering alloys which are worth around 4K gold. Out of 100 boxes I must say this drop rate for worthy materials is not enough for me to go after these boxes. Before the nerf I did a lot of daily quests because now it was worth the time and I returned to areas and towns I had not visited for a long time and that was good. I think I will not be doing these dailies anymore because the time invested is not worth it and those anniversary boxes mostly just gives trash and takes space in your bags.

We should be celebrating ESO 10 year anniversary here. Is it really necessary that the drop rates have to match previous years ;) There could be just a little extra involved just for this year. @ZOS_Kevin , let us celebrate and let us enjoy nice gift boxes. A little tune up is all we ask.

I'm still getting a ton of motifs from this event, however I wish the rate was lowered on worm cult motifs. At this point it's a participation medal just like previous years. I feel like three years ago it was such a low drop that it was worth selling now it's just taking up inventory space.

As a crafter I absolutely love all the style mats that are dropping, however all the bound furnishings will be destroyed by the end of the event. Not a huge fan. Maybe make them sellable. It's not too late.

Was there a patch note anywhere saying the gold mats were going to be nerfed at all? Aetherial dust etc.

I noticed a small change in the loot but nothing worth coming to the forums and fussing about. On accts (2 NA/2 EU) am still receiving less common crafting materials as well as some slightly more common. Am still receiving the new motifs as well as others. Have gotten several of the jubilee confetti which should have dropped last year and didn't, so really happy about that!

I'm pretty much only doing the crafting writs for boxes on one character each acct - I simply don't have the time or inclination for more during the work week. The established accounts receive decent goodies - the new accounts receive goodies otherwise not available to them.

Only complaint I have is purple and gold leads are dropping for my new characters like they're candy - with no way to capitalize on the drop. This has happened at both events now and is really annoying. Wish ZOS would understand that some of us do not spend every waking moment in-game to level as quickly as possible in all ways min/max.

I've been farming the boxes like crazy since the event started trying to get an aetherial cipher. Before the nerf, I was at least getting some cool/interesting and rare mats. Now, after the hot fix, it's ALL complete garbage and zero point in farming them now. The only good thing about this, is that you pulled this crap 2 days before my ESO+ is set to renew. So, see you guys in another 3-4 years. Maybe next time ZOS will finally have their *** together.

Yeah I go back to just doing daily writs, ticket and endeavours now and call it a day. RIP event.

The stuff in my boxes now is all random white or green crap, the same green/blue recipes over and over or the 15th bound anniversary furniture item. No motifs, no yellows or interesting stuff anymore.

The previous events and pre patch were much much better. Hopefully the stream lives up to the expectation because otherwise this will be a very low week for ESO in my book.

There is definitely a TON of bound Jubilee furnishings, which I do not know how to feel about that. I'm basically getting one per box on all my crafting dailies, which is taking away a loot slot from literally anything else. The occasional furnishing is fine/cool, but I am seriously talking 5-6 furnishings per toon out of what, seven crafting dailies?

Furnishings drop alongside the other types of loot. If you get a furnishing, it doesn't block or prohibit any other possible loot (well except for the other furnishings of course).

I'm getting the impression that motif/plan drops are scarcer this year than last. Last year, I kept making trips to the bank to deposit my excess motifs; this year I've placed a few on sale for cheap, learnt a couple, but it's been mostly very basic materials, like 1 rekuta, 1 embroidery, and 10 ruby ash.

Jubilee furnishings get marked as junk and destroyed with a click. I mean, they're alright, but pink rose wreaths aren't really versatile decorations.

They are not. A week in and my motif mule is almost full, and all I've been doing is writs. I cleared out motifs a week before the event also.

The rng and loot table is the same as it always was. I think it may have been accidentally elevated for the entire event last year which contributes to people feeling that it's nerfed. But my drops are 100% in line with previous anniversary events, and this is my 7th or 8th event.

I did two Craglorn runs today. Each time I started and ended with an Ambrosia which is 50 minutes. 52 boxes the first time, 53 boxes the 2nd time. 1st run netted 5 motifs, and 2nd run netted 6. I did not include the Ra Gada motifs that I looted along the way. That's basically 1 motif every 10 boxes. Including a Buoyant Armiger that I didn't yet have and a couple Coldsnap that I did already have (but worth good coin). And surprisingly, none of them were Worm Cult.

And then there was 2 diminished dust and one aetherial dust. A couple of nirncrux (one of each type). And a smattering of some decent DLC furnishing plans. And that's not even taking into account all the crafting/style materials in every box (I'm so happy to see my supply of Dragon Rheum being restocked).

And yes, there was some junk to wade through as well. But all in all, I wouldn't call them worthless.

I got three drops of Glass Eyes today, so they are dopping.

I opened just over 200 boxes, I received 37 motifs(7 were Worm Cult) , I got 3 perfect roe and a smattering of other gold mats.

I am seeing a lot of Rheum and Dragonblood which is just getting stashed for now.

Vile Coagulent is also dropping a lot, which is great, I was getting low and I love Vampiric Furnishings. I've received some Culanda Laquer, some Shimmering Sand and as mentioned above some Glass Eyes, I would like more but still plenty of time.

I'm sorry but I do not consider in any way these boxes to be worthless, I love this event and for me personally it is still well worth farming!! 💕

I'm doing all seven on a full roster of 22, and this year the event is almost three weeks long instead of the normal two (normally it's twelve days I believe but this time it's nineteen). I definitely needed a break in past years when the roster limit was smaller, and I'm already feelin' the burnout, but the 154 daily boxes will be 2,926 after the event is over. I'm still getting good stuff, and we're only I think six days in?

Knowing I still have over two weeks of mats, Blueprints, and Motifs to get will give me the fortitude to keep on keepin' on lol. But I definitely won't be touching crafting for a while after the Jubilee.

Also the passive money from turning in each daily writ on all my characters has given me a couple million gold in the past, so there's that. And all the Suverys and Master Writs (I have two crafters I can get those from; I oughta level some of my other characters in Prov and Alchemy since you can level those fast so I can get more Master Writs)? By the end of any given Jubilee I usually have between 150-200 Surveys, which I can either do on one of my crafters for more max level mats, or do on untrained alts for low level ones (as prep for next year's Jubilee, as literally 20 out of my 22 characters have nothing in any crafting tree unlocked so they ALL use the base-level mats lol).

All that said, I definitely feel that people who get fewer boxes a day will feel the adjustment more, just because of how averages work. Plus RNG is super fickle, so even people like me who farm dozens and dozens of boxes every day can easily have days where ALL of our boxes are junk. But the people who only have the time or energy to get a handful are going to feel that RNG more heavily since they have fewer chances of getting good stuff.

Park your alts in Skingrad, and do the writs there. Grab the writs, start with woodworking, work your way around the circle, and you end right there at the writ turn-in. Also, at the crafting stations set them to "Quest Only" and you don't even need to choose what to craft as it will fill it all in for you if you have an active writ. Makes your writs go stupid-fast.

Unless you're on PC, then I believe there's an addon to do your writs for you.

You sure fix things fast when it's giving us a benefit though.

Thought maybe you'd decided we should have an event that was fun to grind boxes.
Sad that I was wrong. Guess I'll go back to watching TV instead of grinding for boxes just to get some green crafting mats and BOUND furnishings. Bound?!?

Please do keep all this feedback in mind. Your player base is tired of feeling like we're not important to you folks.
