A while back, Pack Leader's direwolves could use an attack that applied a snare to enemies, but then this snare was removed without justification. Werewolf currently has no way to snare enemies, which makes it incredibly difficult to chase down speedy opponents when they're able to outrange your Carnage cast, leaving your Pounce on cooldown.
I think Pounce should apply a snare (maybe just the Feral Pounce morph if an AoE snare with Brutal Pounce is too much) because it's naturally the gap closer ability. When we use Pounce, we want the target to be near us and to stop them from getting away, so adding a snare to Pounce would help us do that. Given that Werewolf lacks long-range abilities, it's incredibly important to be able to stay close to our target at all times.
EDIT: I wouldn't mind if the snare was instead added to Carnage, rather than Pounce. We would just have to land a hit of Carnage immediately after landing a hit of Pounce in order to snare our target.
I do have hope that a Werewolf Scribing ability might be able to apply a snare even if one of Werewolf's original skills cannot, but I digress.
