Constant Timeout on Login
Hello,
So, when I log in there's a long wait then I get a time out message (no error code, just says timeout). If I use the incorrect password it tells me as much, but the correct password just has it going and going to an eventual timeout. Server status says it's all green and I'm just wandering about wondering what's happening. Any input on this? Appreciated.

chmeeeSoul ShrivenTry restarting the launcher and letting it update. For some reason if the launcher is already running it won't do an update. Once the update is finished, you'll be able to login.0 -
Yea, I saw that in the forums and tried it already. Nada. Just stuck after many restarts.0

same issue. would've been nice if there would have been some news informing us that we had to update the launcher instead of just saying the servers were back up. Really crappy. I've been trying to log in for 3 hours. now it will take the rest of the evening to update - guess I'll just have to drink beer and fap.

Same here, launcher says it doesn't need to update, then I get stuck in 'requesting login' followed by 'Error-login timeout'

Having the same thing. Have tried restarting the launcher a few times and no updates have happened. Confirmed in the settings it checks for updates always. Ran the "Game consultant" from the options menu and found no issues.0

I'm having the SAME problem...Log in times out. I have tried to start the client over 6 times.NOTHING helps. I was playing with the 5 day head start...now nothing works.0

I solved my log in problem by commanding my client to repair and then it updated and I could log in. THE PROBLEM..is some clients are NOT updating and you must force them to by repairing(their is a small button on the client that opens a tab with this option.)0

Did it before reading all the replies, but yea, two launcher restarts with two repairs solved my problem. Merci all!0

✭In the left window of the launcher it says something like
Elder Scrolls Online
Just to the right of that are one or two click able button like things, The repair option is in those somewhere
Apologies for the bad description, might only be one button there but I'm not at my PC as I type this0 -

yea does it look like a gear icon? I can click that but I see no option to repairIn the left window of the launcher it says something like
Elder Scrolls Online
Just to the right of that are one or two click able button like things, The repair option is in those somewhere

only see 2 tabs options and about. Under both there is no repair.
