    Calm myself? They are making false charges on my credit card, when my total was $0.00. Lets say I didn't have those fund available I would have the card company charge me another $30-60 dollars in fees. Give me a break, I won't settle for sub-par service and incompetence, and neither should any of you.

    I am with you on this.. i paid for Imperial edition which comes with 30 days.. now on redeeming it wants me to add a sub first and ask another 12 GBP for 30 days what bs is this..

    This is frustrating.. Surely they could have made it as simple as redeeming the code, which then validates that you have the game and gives your account an additional 30 days access, but nope.. they cause trouble for everyone.

    Exactly this.. i am furious, already paid a arm and leg for the damn game this month and now i need to pay another 12 GBP wtf..

    This exactly. Nothing said anywhere that to access my 30 days I would have to enter credit card information.

    I only know that my imperial edition will not arrive until tomorrow and I cannot log in.

    By redeeming your product code today, which INCLUDES an initial 30 days of game play, you have acknowledged that this game requires you to enter into a paid subscription plan. After your initial 30 days of included access, you will be charged for a recurring subscription in accordance with the plan selected above, subject to cancellation by you at any time. No refunds or credits for partial months.

    There own policy states that you will be charged after the initial 30 days. What the company did should never happen, no excuses.

    We need responses from Zenimax regarding this... i am more than happy if they charge me only after my trial ends if i wish to continue with the sub.. but charging you right at front when you already have FREE 30 days don't make any sense.

    Have you called your credit card company? Has the card actually been charged $14.99?

    Ok, I think they have some crappy system and that is why. I think they may hold (auth) the initial sub....then immediately cancel, not take it, to check validity. You should see available balances tally up in a day or so.

    As I was charged £8.99 via paypal. when I logged in it had been cancelled straight away.

    So if they are doing this with the cards, it will be a pre auth, which is cancelled and dropped back.

    Terrible system none the less.

    I would give it a few days then check to see if the charge is still there. They my of just checked to see if they could pull the money but didn't really pull it. I am not putting my Key until Sunday. When you enter your CC info they do a temp pull to see if the funds are there and you entered a valid card. I am sure after a few days the Card company gives the money back. WoW people need to claim down.

    I've never seen a company preauthorize for the full subscription price. It was my understanding when I entered my credit card information that I would not be charged at any way at this time. If i didn't have the funds available I would have been charged overage fees by my bank. You tell customers when entering their information that the card will be authorized and the funds will be unavailable for a period of time. On top of all this I have been unable to access my account in-game since March 31. I'm fed up with customer service and these bogus policies.

    They do need to make it a LOT clearer they are pre authing the whole amount. Especially if people are going for the more expensive options. That would definitely seem to be what they are doing though. So if they are immediately cancelling the payment request it should drop back in a day or so...

    Correct. Tell me that money is going to be unavailable, especially when it is for the full price. Overdraft fees are no joke.
