Note: In order to participate and claim rewards, you need access to ESO via Steam or the Epic Games Store.
    What?
This thing is running since January 4 with nothing about only Steam and epic. The nvidia app cant detected ESO.

Hi all, for those that are having issues with the NVIDIA Lan mission, we are checking in with them to make sure everything is working properly. In the meantime, if you do not want to wait, you can submit a ticket to our customer service team. Please note the promotion and they should be able to assist you in the short term for the mount.

and now you're just excluding more players because something isn't working that no player can do anything about?
Better put a direct link to create a support ticket there and help the players

This announcement is not true. I was told by ZOS support themselves that you must use GeForce Experience or Nvidia app and that you must have an Nvidia GPU (A GTX Series 10 or higher in specific)

So console users, AMD users, and people who bought the game directly from ZOS are out of luck. And GeForce Now does NOT work.

As nvidia user with standalone version you have to submit a ticket. And answer on the first reply that the instruction is not working.

Support then has unlocked the mount direct

And yes this is for nvidia.

Not what I was talking about.
I played through steam with GeForce Now, as the announcement claims you can do, but I both got nothing and was told by Customer Service that I cannot earn it this way.

Everyone is getting upset with ZOS (as usual), but it seems to me that if ZOS and some other company are doing some kind of promotional giveaway together, it is likely that ZOS is merely providing the giveaway goodies and the other company is setting the terms of what must be done to qualify for earning and claiming the goodies.

I doubt ZOS told nVidia how players will need to play ESO in order to qualify for this giveaway, or told Rockstar Energy Drinks how many cans of Rockstar people must buy and redeem codes for in order to qualify for that promotional giveaway, etc.

If you all want to complain to someone about this giveaway and how it works, perhaps you should be complaining to nVidia if you're hoping for your complaints to actually do any good? Just a thought.

Oh, the way to create a support ticket an item you can't get is, according to the game is:

You should right click on the item you CANNOT GET (!) and select "Get Help" from the pop-up menu. @ZOS_Kevin does that make ANY sense?

Most likely, contacting NVidia would not do ANY good because:

    1) They most likely have no way to manually fix the problem by providing you the promo mount; and
    2) Whatever integration there is, it would take forever for them to troubleshoot. Especially where 3-way integration is included. So far, neither myself nor anyone I personally know was able to get the code on the GeForce Experience or Nvidia App, whether they have steam or epic version. It just doesn't happen.

@ZOS_Kevin I have the Nvidia app. I have Geforce now. Nothing appears to be available. And what's up w/ the announcement saying it was available starting on the 4th but no post was made until several days later?

The promotion doesn't work, so Nvidia saying they're out of them. This was a terrible "promotion". Y'all need to talk to Nvidia b/c that''s crappy Late announcement from you guys and then it doesn't even work.

We just talked to NVIDIA. They have codes. Some folks will not get their codes delivered until tomorrow, so please keep an eye out. Worst case scenario, we can always grant the code on our end, just like several in the thread have noted.

Hi All, for those using the individual ESO Client, NVIDIA has patched the NVIDIA App and is noting things should be working for as intended now. Here are the steps to follow:
Close ESO if you are playing.
Close and restart the NVIDIA App (Note: NOT GeForce NOW. You need to use the NVIDIA App)
NVIDIA App --> Settings --> SCAN NOW to pick up your games.
You will now see ESO in the Graphics tab with all other games.

Just a note, with this patch to the NVIDIA app, the timer may reset, so you may have to play the 50 minutes again to get the mount.

Those playing on Steam or Epic, new codes will be uploaded tomorrow afternoon (Jan.9). Please check your NVIDIA App then. If you still do not see a code after that point, please let us know and place a ticket. We will work with you to resolve this.

Again, please let us know if you run into issues, we can work with our teams to troubleshoot if that is the case. Thanks again, all.

    Two questions.

    1) Does it work with GeForce Experience (as stated in the announcement), too, or should it be specifically the new NVIDIA App? (Which seems to cause a drop in performance about 10-15% by the by.) If NVIDIA App, which does not require logging in, do you still need to log in to Nvidia for the promo, and if so, should it be on the site, in the app, somewhere else specifically?
    2) Is it 50 minutes cumulative or in one go?

My understanding is that the 10% to 15% drop was with a specifc setting enabled.

nVidia have posted: 'We are aware of a reported performance issue related to Game Filters and are actively looking into it. You can turn off Game Filters from the NVIDIA App Settings > Features > Overlay > Game Filters and Photo Mode, and then relaunch your game.' (source)

It works with Experience. I have not upgraded to the new Nvidia app yet (because of the performance issues you mentioned and whatever other early adopter "surprises" might be waiting), and I got it through GeForce Experience.

The section to find the code is a bit hidden. You have to click on your username in the top right corner and then "redeem" in the drop-down menu.

It wasn't there for me at first, but just going back to the main screen and then going to the redeem screen again 2-3 times made it pop up for me.

@ZOS_Kevin Still no luck. I reinstalled the Nvidia app. I even launched eso via the play button on the app. Played for over 50 mins. Nothing.

After following the instructions the app finally detected the game and acknowledged that I had finished the mission:

Alas when I went to redeem I got 'not available':

@ApoAlaia were you playing the normal version or the steam version? I've been playing the normal version via the nvidia app ... and just nothing.
