[Housing] UI - Please add an easy way to switch btwn Mouse vs Keyboard/Precision positioning

This is applies for those of us who cobble heavily and may have 10x of one item in close proximity, intersecting with dozens of other items.

That means:

It's not easy to select from Retrieve menu, since you don't know which "Tree, whatever" 5m away is the one you need to edit. You can try, of course, but sometimes it's just more of a pain. And Retrieve is still bugged: selecting an item changes your camera FOV. (explained here)
So to select it, you have to tab tab tab tab tab tab tab tab tab tab tab tab, ad infinitum, until you get carpal tunnel.
Oops, you missed it by 1 - there's no way to go back, so you have to re-tab until you find it again. Hope you counted.
Sometimes it's more efficient to use the mouse positioning system, other times you need the precision with keyboard. Currently there's no way to switch between these, except by re-doing all of the selecting mess above.
I do use EHT, but it can introduce other UI/UX issues so it's not always a better solution.

So it would be really nice if there was a button to switch to Precision edit, or Mouse edit, just like there is for Cursor Mode at the bottom:

I'm just linking to Arzyel's pic here for the bottom menu since I can't upload an image? But the scene itself is a terrible example because you can directly select that table easily. Whereas...

Something like this is waaaay more of a pain. Imagine trying to find a specific crystal!

Surprised there are no replies here, I know I'm far from the only one that has issues with tab-select
