Thanks, Kevin. Hope you had a good holiday.

Are there any plans to let us know of an actual performance & changes to the game type of road map? This doesn't seem to address that.

Looks like a good month, happy to get a newer version of the Elven Hero outfit!
Still waiting for answers about class set aura behavior, and also hoping that one day hair dyeing will be an option. We know it's canon thanks to a book in the Manor of Masques! (House of Reveries: The Troupe)
Proud owner of a Morrowind Banner of the 6th House (back when it actually meant something)

I saw that. However, a preview of an update is not a roadmap. The latter is far more interesting & important to me than an update preview stream.

Thanks, @Onomog. Hope you had a great holiday and wonderful start to the New Year as well.

The purpose of this monthly roadmap is to inform everyone regarding events, both in and out of game, coming in January. Trying to address the need of informing folks of events earlier. Any game additions or changes like game improvements will be outlined in patch notes and articles, or during preview livestream events. We do have quarterly roadmaps graphics we share as well that highlight the upcoming changes after we do formal announcements. However, those are not available yet.

That being said, we can pass along the feedback of having a roadmap for features and see what is possible there.

@ZOS_Kevin Thanks for posting this January 2025 Monthly Roadmap!

I am curious about what time the January 9 Livestream starts. I would like to rearrange schedule and watch it. Will it start at 1 PM EST like the December Livestream did?

Twitch Drops Fest - OK, I logged into twitch.tv and cleaned up my streamers list. Multiple streamers I had watched play ESO in the past who are not streaming ESO now, so I unfollowed them. And I see on https://elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/streamers that several new streamers have been added. The roadmap picture shows drops of a mount and either a costume or style.

And a Pan-Tamriel Celebration that overlaps a new Golden Pursuit? Whoa! Maybe next time put them one after the other, instead of both overlapping?

Thanks for the clarification and willingness to pass along concerns, Kevin.

I would add, that in addition to a feature roadmap, I'd like to see one regarding technical improvements, like what milestones are planned for addressing the ongoing performance issues. Ideally, you could combine the feature and technical roadmap into one, as they are somewhat related.

    Thanks again.

We won't have information on seasons until Global Reveal in April. The next update is following our current structure.

Thanks for the clarification. It is kind of disappointing and i would request zos revisit this decision.
By current structure, are we to understand this new update will definitely include a new set of dungeons?

Also, we were told the questions about the letter asked in the forum were being looked at and would be answered in a post. I think that would help a lot of people with concerns about the game going forward.

Looking forward to this month's activities. Hoping the ESO Live stream on the 9th will calm some people's nerves about the changes starting in 2025. :)

Unless things shift between now and then, 1pm ET should be accurate. But we will have an official article for the stream next week confirming.

We should have more info on the Twitch Drop Fest soon. Not sure if you had a specific question there. But if it's regarding what the drop is, we should have info to share in the coming weeks.

We can pass feedback on about the Event and Golden Pursuit overlap. We know that some folks like the overlap, but will share this as well.

Totally understand your sentiment. The work around future content is still being worked out, so it would be misleading to announce specific details regarding seasons before we are ready to talk about it. Because if things shift, we would like to avoid having incorrect information or cause confusion. Also forgot to note that we'll pass the thoughts on to the team. We know others feel this way as well. Not sure if things will shift, but we will address it and see if anything is possible there.

The livestream next Thursday will provide clarity to your question. Can't answer that right now since we have plans for discussing U45 content.

That January 9th stream is going to be tough to sit through.

A lot of people are frustrated, especially after seeing how the CMs handled Nefas in his recent video—on top of all the other issues piling up.

Yeah that is some bad treatment but nefas wont be in this stream so they might be nicer..

Agreed. I think after the pvp stream was taken and that Nefas issue came out, I’m not sure when I will watch another stream of theirs. I would rather read a list than anything else.

    Thanks for sharing this roadmap!

I am a bit curious why feature roadmaps are still in “pass along” phase, tbh. There was a big roadmap discussion back in 2023, I sent you and Jessica both a link that’s since broken. So, is there a realistic timeline for getting long requested roadmaps on things like the overall trajectory of combat and performance fixes?

It’s an aging conversation, so I think it’s important to be more concrete about details. If you guys aren’t planning on that, please let us know. The “pass along for feedback” doesn’t really inspire confidence, just given some of the history. Not a dig at your work, just an overall observation.

Welcome back, hope you had a restful holiday!

Thank you for the information Kevin. I am eager to see what's in store, particularly if we are getting Dungeons coming again.

Like many players though, I am a bit anxious about the implications of Matt's letter and what it means for the future of ESO, particularly in the light of the cancellation of the US in-person event. It would really help the community if some things were mentioned in the U45 preview stream on the 9th that could try to reassure us about the future of the game.

We’re chatting internally to see what we can share between now and global reveal to help ease those concerns. So definitely heard there. We need to see what is possible. But we did pass on this sentiment in a chat earlier today.

Chaos ball event, I hope they fix the problem with the werewolf form lagging the match every time it changes by then.
Here $15, goat mount please. Not gambling or paying 45 : lol :
20% base speed for high ping players.
Streak moves you faster then speed cap.
They should of made 4v4v4v4 instead of 8v8.
