disc problems

hi i just got my pre order now i have downloaded the game from the website but i wanted to use my disc just incase and my laptop isnt reading any of the discs it reads dvds and other games but elderscrolls is not being read is there a reason for this?

Are all your drivers up to date? It sounds like a problem with your computer. Also, why did you download the game from the website if you have the discs? Just curious.

i pre ordered the game and downloaded the client for my early access lol cause i dont have a visa yet i paid cash

I can't see any reason you'd need the discs at the moment then. That might even be the reason why the discs won't install it. I'm not sure though.

If you've already downloaded the game then why are you trying to use the discs? In fact, using the discs might be a bad idea because they almost certainly have an older version of the game files. Installing from the discs would mean you'd have to redownload any and all patches that have been made since the discs were created.

Hey there, everyone. As some users have mentioned, you won't need to worry about installing the game from the physical disc if you've already got the client installed on your computer. You're already set for when we open the servers later today!
