Can Zerith-var actually liberate bounded souls of vampire people?

Can Zerith-var actually liberate bounded souls of vampire people?

I finally finished his companion quest line.
Maybe I could save heart of that clumsy ancient cat.

But. Something still stuck in my throat.

First of all, Zerith-var is little bit vampire situation already.
He is a not second era people, and once he was dead actually.

He usually say, "killing undead is liberation of souls".
That's very reason why Zerith don't use necro skill only for
selfish purpose. He really hate to use souls just like the tools.

And, there're no proof that Zerith-var can cure vampire people or
have skill to unbound vampire soul from Molag-bal or Coldharbour.
(Player actually did vampire liberation from Molag-bal through the quest.)

Is he really good hearted man? or just egoist?

Well, when I finished final his quest, he was smiling just like the man
who were liberated from every burden. At least, I succussed to make his grim face

Zerith cannot cleanse a soul. It's something noted at the end of his recruitment quest, he cannot prevent or reverse the Cantors corruption (The other Cantors CAN cleanse their corruption though).

He can merely guide souls. Which is how his "Cleansing" works, we kill the Dro m'athra's body, then Zerith guides their soul to Azura. It's also how much of his other abilities work, guiding souls to him so they can provide aid.

It also seems like his capabilities are limited to exclusively Khajit souls too (It's never stated outright but the whole thing seems to be focused around Khajit whom hear the call of both Azura and Namira)

In regards to vampirism... It is entirely based around a disease (Of which there are many strains). Meaning that a person's soul is not necessarily affected by being a vampire, it's more just their body is the host of a disease making it a vampire. There are cures to several strains of vampiric diseases.

Zerith... Won't be able to do much about vampirism. Other than guide the soul of a fallen Khajit vampire to Azura (It's unclear how effective this would be given that a Khajit vampire might actually WANT to continue to follow Sangiin in death. We don't have much information on how Zerith's abilities function on Khajit that actively shun Azura of their own volition, only those who are forcibly corrupted by Namira)

First of all, thanks for excellent explanation.

You know, if player is necro class then Zerith have interesting conversation
at the first meeting sequence. He asked me about method of treating souls
as necromancer. He said he knew the necro method treating souls "without spell binding".
I finished his quest by my DK character, so I don't know necro player pattern of epilogue his quest.

Is there any of special event for necro players at the end of his story?
Zerith said that he'll teach non spell binding style necro skill for the players,
but nothing at the end?

Zerith-var does not teach Necromancer characters any new skills. Imagine the uproar from PvP and endgame PvE crowds if Companions could teach new skills to players...
