Should a Hide Chest, Gloves, Pants, Boots, and Belt Outfit Style be added to the game?

WoW has had an option to hide everything for quite a long while, except chest and pants which were still minimum requirement for a while until recently-ish.

I feel like gloves / boots are a good start, along with belt as they often don't align correctly or stick out weirdly depending on what you have on for chest and pants.

So it'll always be a yes for me.

Honestly upon further consideration, someone mentioned that game only required pants. I think that could work to maintain the aesthetic of the game while still giving more freedom.

Hide belt (waist) is what I want the most currently. Most of the belt pieces are hideous and some of the legging designs already have a belt on them.

Seeing players fight in the wedding dress ruins my immersion and the game’s aesthetic, but doesn’t seem to bother anyone else until other players bring up wanting more customization options like hide armors or more diverse outfit options, then all the sudden you get players saying that would ruin the immersion and aesthetic as if fighting a war in a wedding dress or flowery bikini isn’t already possible lol, makes no sense to me. I’m more making a point than saying it actually ruins the games aesthetic, it doesn’t, in my opinion of course.
Hide ya kids, hide ya wife, n' hide ya husband too cuz he be gankin' erybody up en heeyuh..

People can be against stuff when there's things already in the game that are as bad.

Call it a stance of "Stemming the bleeding" whereby the damage to the aesthetics of the game is already done, but that doesn't mean it needs to become worse.

For example, I'm not too fond of the aesthetics that is brought by various Crown Store mounts. I recall seeing some shiny monstrosity that was farting rainbows and sparkles. However its existence doesn't mean I'd suddenly be okay with MLP mounts (Or other equally garish and out of place things)

    Personally, my view on the specifics of things is that;

Yes, running around in your panties isn't very immersive (Outside of being a low level character what with already starting out in just rags before being dumped into the ocean to wash up on a shore/get saved by a passing ship)

However, unlike say, a dumb looking mount, being an non-immersive and aesthetically dissonant design is not the ONLY outcome. People are reasonably creative when it comes to designing outfits and running around like Let Me Solo Her is not a particularly prominent desire for most people.

There will be vastly more immersive and aesthetically coherent designs being made than "Haha look at me run around in my panties!" - Just like current fashion options (Such as bath towels and evening dresses) are being used in a minor number of cases (And being used in combat even less).

And in the case of people hanging around in town... Well, they already have the option to take off their armour and run around unclothed (Heck, there's explicitly an achievement about having all your armour slots confiscated by a guard to boot...) and guess what? People simply don't.

Yes please! it would be really great to have that option, that way you can see your body markings and skins better! an option to hide the belt part that's on most shirts would be great as well, and like someone else said, an option to hid the little pieces up on the pants hip area.

I genuinely want to know why the devs haven't added more hide armor piece options.

I get the hesitation around chest or legs, but gloves, belt, shoes seem like unquestionably good additions.

Hide chest should be a thing. We already have multiple styles that are basically just underwear, with varying degrees of coverage. Wood Elf 1 medium, Crimson Oath, Sai Sahan, Fang Lair/[that other one that's identical to Fang Lair], Dibellas, Scoriante Gladiator, and Black Drake (which is quite literally just a thread across the center of the breasts and a dead weasel around the shoulders) are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Hide chest could just be Black Drake minus the dead weasel. I don't think the dead weasel is where the line of decency should really be drawn.

I just think additional customization options would allow for some really unique looks, and they've already added "Hide Shoulders" and "Hide Helmet", so it should be easy to do. What do you guys think?

So "Hide Shoulders" is probably my favorite outfit addition so far in ESO. It's by far my most used outfit style, and I've used it to craft so many wonderful and unique looks for my characters. I'm 100% convinced that if there was a "Hide" option for every outfit slot, with only the addition of 5 new outfit options we'd have possibly thousands of new looks and combinations.

What an easy way to buff Outfitting for such a small cost! I hope ZOS is taking notes.
