But still, after 5-7 wins, I get thrown 2-3 times into a team that is completely bad. Or everyone has 17-20hp, or they cant hold together or els. It seems to me that there is a condition for distribution to a weaker team with several wins in a row.
I don't know if mmr was reset recently but I think it was. Hopefully zos can minimize the number of times they have to do this reset if this is the case and hopefully they can sort out any issues with mmr and take some of the feedback from the community into that. From what I can gather, it appears that they are actively listening to the forums related to bgs, so there is hope.

it was definitely reset when u44 released with the new format BGs, i dont know if it has since then though (except maybe once right after release due to bugs that were going on)

as far as I remember, there was a lot of talk about resetting the mmr every week. in my opinion, this is not right. But I often notice easier battles on the first day and often find myself in first place in points and k/d, although my build should be third.

might be confusing that with the leaderboards
the leaderboards which are based on medal score are reset weekly
MMR which is based on win/loss (that we have no visible tracking of) is what is actually used for the queue, this usually only reset rarely, such as when the new BGs launched and when there was another major issue with it

Then the question remains whether the position in the top 100 affects the mmr and the division into teams. If so, it should also be a variable. If so, then in fact there should be two mmrs, one that is almost never reset and which is reset once a week.

the devs confirmed when the last update was releasing that the queue/MMR system does not take medal score into account at all
so the leaderboards are entirely separate and have no effect on the queue system (not to mention all of the other problems people have with the medal score, such as pure healers dominating the board and certain classes like necromancer getting shafted in terms of earning medals)
my best guess is that theres a low enough population in the BG queue that the MMR is almost meaningless, MMR only really works if you say have 1000s of people queueing into a 16 person match, not like 50-100 people queuing into a 16 person match
50 people into a 16 person match, the 1 match is going to absorb almost 1/3 of the entire population in the queue, which would be why you frequently run into the same players in matches or why the MMR seems to be nonexistent
