I doubt that it will get a high priority. It's a quite specific request that concerns probably a minority of players only: those who set a big importance to changing hair and eyes colors of an altmer. That's pretty specific.
There are already so many requests of all types, out of which some are more generic, though don't get implemented since years... Don't be too optimistic.

For example, personally, I don't need that. First I play no altmer and second, if talking about colors, I would be more interested in an extension of the dying concept, with the possibility to dye horse equipment ( or/and even different design of equipment for horses, that could be either crafted or purchased).

We have hair styles pack in crown store (the ones you can choose during character creation). So why not hair colors, eye colors & skin tones packs ? (again, the ones you can chose during character creation).

I mean, it would still be race locked (just like it is during character creation), so it would all be lore friendly. And ZOS would also benefit from it as they could monetised it.

EXACTLY!!!!!! Something like this, like the whole thing needs a face-lift anyway. It probably wouldn't take that long to do. I made another post a few months ago. Like Come On, they gave it to characters in game??? Why not the players?

Okay they have given multiple altmer NPCs different hair and eye colors, there's no reason to keep it from the players. They could literally give every race a face lift easily and offer more variety, yet they just don't.

The point is that the character creator lacks the hair and eye colors that are in fact canon to a race but not provided to the players

    LITERALLY?????

Why do the NPC's in the game have hair and eye colors us the players cannot have? They clearly exist in the code, why do they not exist in the character creator

Cosmetics are important for both the people who treat ESO as a role playing game, and for the monetization team at ZOS to keep the game funded. That's not to discount the importance of server performance, which ZOS is actively taking steps to improve. They just have separate teams working on separate projects within ESO.

I really hope this means we will be getting the face lifts we've been asking for and honestly, I hope it's every race in the game. It's long over due and really needs to happen. I love the altmer, and I'm incredibly disappointed in what has happened to one of my favorite races in the TES universe. I want all the character models to be better for everyone, but I wanted to point out the altmer specifically lack a large number of cosmetics, especially things that are canon in game and in other games. It's really unfortunate. I hope with update 54 this is changed because I would immediately spend money on this and I'm certain other players would too. I'm an RPer, I want my character to look how I draw and imagine them, but also it's rather unfair to limit some character models, ie giving one race 5 different shades of blonde, while everyone else gets a full range of hair colors and options. It's all very frustrating.

Hairstyles are great, but hair dye would be better.

Maybe if the devs find a way to allow players to use the unlockable dyes for hair and eyes too? character creation colors are general colors but some dyes I think might make good eye/hair colors.

Example: some dyes color different on types of clothing being cloth vs leather vs metal. well the different colorations being visible in eyes would look nice imo.

Plus I want a nice brown color for my imperial vampire's hair but the character creation colors don't match what I'm going for but a dye I possibly have unlocked might.

If they manage to get this to work, it'll open up a lot of variety for characters. So many dyes are in the game and some I really enjoy but some I get a thought of "This color is nice but I think it'd be better for eyes. if that were possible to change here."

Appearance tokens could still be used yes, but open up the color palate for hair and eyes based on what your account has unlocked.

I don't like how some crown store hairstyles give a blueish sheen on top of some black hair/manestyles..That is something that also needs to be rectified. Surely some of the Men/Mer styles could be opened up with some tweaking for Khajiit and Argonians?

Oh I 100% agree, then you can just buy a pack and change your characters hair whenever you feel like it! It would be really cool tbh and a much more accessible way for people to access character creation. I didn't really even think of that but I really like this idea, because then it gives everyone the chance to change their characters how they like or want, rather than having set colors you change through a token!

If you buy a hairstyle, it acts like a wig, in that your character can put it on and take it off, reverting to the one from character gen. So why can that wig not be a different color?

Why does the title say more hairstyles but then it says more hair colours and eye colours for altmer? :D

I definitely want more hairstyles. It's almost weird how few they release when hairstyles is often one of the biggest cosmetics in mmos and such. I especially want some nice ones for argonians, feel like they always draw the short stick in design.

As for hair colour, they really should add a "Cosmetic Pack: Hair Colours", which has the character creator colours. Some like argonian colours might be racial locked, but many others wouldn't. The same way many of the other cosmetic packs item works: We can't pick them in character creator but we can put them on our characters with those packs. Could also contain some of the npc exclusive colours. That way for example, altmer and imperials can pick the black haircolour, we get access to the red colour Svana has etc. I definitely don't want outfit dyes to be hair colours, and this would still give a lot of nice options.

I do want us to be able to use dyes on adornments though. So many adorments lately got such odd colour choices and even the base game ones are dependant on hair colour which varied drastically between races. Like some races don't get any or very few silver, or the same with gold, then some races get like copper colours while others don't.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

I have noticed this with the Argonians as well! They really seem to lack any hair styles at all. It seems very uninspired when it could have so many cool options for you guys?? Like even the khajiit have options!

I also agree, they should have more hairstyles! I really don't care for how exclusive they are either? Why isn't everything just available all the time? They would make more money if it was! I think I agree, it would be nice to just have a good old fashioned dye pack with a range of colors to pick from!

Another thing about adornments and hairstyles, especially base game ones is why the hell are they gender locked? That just seems incredibly weird to me given you can basically use all the new stuff on either character model, but the base game hairstyles are limited on gender even though NPC's have of the opposite gender have worn it in game??? But yes I agree, some of the adornments have like a weird sheen to them and some of them even change based on your hair color like what????? Come on now, just make everything available to every character, allow us to dye adornments, provide hair dye packs for every character and release more hairstyles! Like you're so right, every MMO has tons of this stuff but ESO seems to lack it completely

As an old Skyrim player, I'm always up for the Fashion Wars and I find the lack of hairstyles disturbing (if you got it, you got it, hehe).

Another thing I'd really like was coloured eyes that don't affect other face elements (e.g. for female characters, eyes like Pelinal's overwrite their lips colour).

We need more hair colors available for ALL races honestly. Would like to give my Khajiit red hair...Like certain npcs have (Raz). We can have crazy skins and effects but not certain (NORMAL colors no less) hair colors? Come on! Lol.
Maybe allow us to dye it at the station (maybe for ESO plus members, same as costumes). Would like to dye my adornments/accessories too honestly, lol.

Character creation could use a good overhaul though (more hair styles/colors, tattoos/markings/scales, as well as the option to choose tattoo/markings/scales/makeup colors, eye colors, add playable subraces for Khajiit and Argonians, different character creation mechanic, the option to change the lighting in character creation, hairstyles and adornments that you purchased should be available in creation as well, maybe a way to preview what your character would look like with ALL stages of vampirism, ect).

With there being style packs for all hairstyles, adornments, facial hair, and head/body markings, and those being useable on all (outside of beast race and horns/antlers) characters, it would be nice if the added a hair/eye color pack that functioned similar.
