Will we ever see mounts be able to swim?

This has been an age old thing in this game where if my mount goes up to ankle height in water, suddenly it evaporates. We’re 10-11 years in guys let’s fix this lol. It’s frankly just silly

I would like to see swimming mounts in the game. Also companions that can swim.

You will be able to get swimming mounts, but the catch is that they will be ONLY swimming mounts, so you'll dismount when you get back on land.

I mean, maybe there's a new Riding Skill for swimming that can only be learned at stables found in the new zone. I could see it being passed off as a Chapter feature, but of course I'd want something more in-depth than that.

Honestly, I would rather see them add new water mounts separately. I want to be able to sail boats.

I would suggest that Zenimax does not see anything about this being broken. They probably intended for us to be dismounted in water like that.

LOL. Yeah, they will say they listened to us and that this is our big QoL feature of the years.

Sigh.... sadly not in this game. We'd need a whole new engine for this.
All the while in other MMOs you have underwater and aerial combat with a wide variety of mounts to quest for and skins to sell.

I would love to see my mount swim. This has been asked for multiple times over the years. If there is a reason why it can't or won't be done, I wish the devs would tell us.

I mean all they’d have to do is just make it so mounts swim at half-speed like players do. Would still be faster than dismounting, swimming, and remounting. Don’t even have to go underwater, just have the animations made.
