I`m offended by this npc

Jakarn in Gonfalon Bay, zone quest giver that is at the wayshrine will only state this to my DragonKnight Nord Tank. "Over here good looking", that offends me because of the same gender. HE only says this to this character and NO I don`t want him saying this to my other characters.

The game has a lot of different characters, and naturally they are not always palatable; I mean, at some point Molag Bal says he will skin us and make a banner, and though I don't want to hear that either, it's on theme for the daedric prince of destruction, so it makes sense. Similarly, Jakarn can be flirtatious to the point of being annoying or skeezy for some, but that happens to be the NPC's personality. I don't think every character that works with the Vestige has to be likable, because otherwise there wouldn't be any variety to the stories or dialogues.

Normal states of player are: offended, angry, mad, upset, whining and enraged. i miss them happy players.

In Shornhelm, Lerisa says that Jakarn is in love with her, though she does not reciprocate. Jakarn confirms this in Sentinel, where he can be found writing poetry for her. Majoll states that he and Jakarn retrieved a Daedric Artifact to impress her.

If he says that particular greeting to only one of your characters, it's probably because your other characters haven't met him yet in other adventures.

Jakarn is pansexual. Regardless, people can appreciate beauty no matter sexuality. But also I don’t like Jakarn’s flirtatiousness either. I’m into men, but not men like that.

He says the same thing to the player character regardless of their gender. I wouldn't read anything into it - likely more just a figure of speech than anything else.

We're constantly attacked, pushed over, slashed, burned, frozen and killed by almost every creature we encounter in the game.

Being called goodlooking should be the least of our problems.

I have 11 characters on my account and HE only addresses me on that one character. That one character has not even done the zone story, only 1 of my characters has done the zone story.

According to the UESP article linked upthread, he uses that greeting for characters he's met before in previous content. It has nothing to do with the character's gender.
