"bounce style projectile" i dont think makes a whole lot of sense since there is a multi target script, that alone makes many skills "bounce style projectiles" (shield throw, the scribing dagger throw, etc)

im not sure if i would pick 1 option out of the list, but out of the listed options i think a pet, an aura dot, or a turret style skill would be nice options

I hadn’t considered this. But I think that might be better as a focus or perhaps a signature on things that exist such as Soul Burst.

Always felt like Elder Scrolls was lacking familiars. A spectral wolf would be kickass. Bonus points if its damage type affects its appearance.

Hopefully less cast times and channels to fit in more builds. I would like to see longer buff times too.

A pet would be cool to bring to other non-pet playstyles for those than enjoy them. Especially if the pet's model changed entirely based on damage and focus script (i.e. bear for bleed damage, spriggan or nature-based for heal).

I also think a turret skill is cool to get us closer to a dwarven artificer class without bringing in an entirely new class!

I do also agree with those saying that cast times and channels need to be considered more heavily. The destro staff skill is so cool and weighty and I LOVE it. The problem is, with the craziness that is the weaving system, seeing a skill like that is almost off-putting because it looks so good and feels good like all skills should, but because of the weaving it's awkward to use.

All great poll options though! :)

Probably a pet, like a flame atronach or an atronach that changes based on the damage type, flame, frost, shock, physical (air atronachs), flesh for disease damage. A skeleton/wraith maybe for magic damage.

The main thing I wanted spellcrafting for was an ability to have more appropriate summons like atronachs or skeletons etc., preferably with ability to backbar those with not much concern about their power budget, or having better versions for sacrificing two slots.

For me, this is what I would want too. Use of the class grimoire should allow you to create scribed abilities using your class's combat abilities so you can really fill out your class build. Some class abilities just need more before you can justify using a skill slot on them, and scribing would be a way to be able to edit these abilities to make them more functional, and you could actually see a better variety of class skills used.

Example? Sunshield on a templar hasn't been good since game launch. But throw on there a major resolve and minor mending to it with the class grimoir bonus? That would make this an awesome ability IMO that would negate the need to run Rune Focus. Depending on your build, this ability would offer better defense than the rune focus which grants Major Resolve, a small amount of healing, a negligible amount of sustain, and a small increase in armor when standing in the rune.

    A new Ground DoT
For Scribing, I'd like to see the Werewolf skill line get a new ability that players can replace one of the existing Werewolf abilities for. I'll comment on a few of the poll options in the context of a Scribed Skill for the Werewolf skill line:
    • It's hard to imagine Werewolf getting a second Ultimate that does anything other than what Werewolf Transformation does.
    • A ground effect would actually be really cool. I've previously talked about an idea for a ground effect skill for Werewolf that I call "Hunter's Grounds", which would be a thematic magic-based ability with a variety of utility.
    • A pet skill would be cool, but Pack Leader already has two Dire Wolf pets.
    • An aura DoT would be neat, as Werewolf is a melee brawler playstyle.
    • A channeled beam for DPS is another interesting idea. Personally, for Werewolf I'd prefer we get a channeled biting/clawing attack.

I would like to see ultimates for sure for each weapon and guild skill line AND class mastery.

I would also like to see class mastery focus and affix scripts like they have for signature.

I also think there should be scripts for every guild, race and skill type including thieves guild, undaunted, vampire, werewolf, nord, dunmer, psijic, etc.

Just imagine the endless possibilities and endless hours of theory crafting...

I can only imagine the amount of artistic and development work that would go into this and I am sure zos is cooking things up too. Part of me wishes I could fast forward to u50 or whatever to see where scribing has gone.

    Also, great poll question.

I would love to see a script that treats a skill as if it were a Vampire ability

Apply the script and the skill is affected by the Vampire cost decease, also give it a second buff that increases the damage of the focus script by 15% or something, maybe a script that also treats a skill like a criminal act but buffs it in return.

I'd like to see some Vampire Grimoires. Since they'd be located in the Vampire skill line and would be considered Vampire abilities, they'd naturally benefit from Vampire passives such as the cost reduction with your Stage. They would likely be Criminal Act abilities, too — unless if they're like the Mesmerize skill, which is not a Criminal Act ability out of necessity.

I'd like to see skill styles with more visual effect to them. the color changes are awesome, and I'd like to see more than just color in the future.

lava / magma, lightning, wind, smoke, hazardous slime, water, fire, floral, blood, arcanist runes, ice / snow, bone shards, i can go on and on.

personally, I'd even be willing to spend an extra 1-2 luminous ink to add a custom visual effect to scribed skills. But for the pre-existing skills, it'd be nice to have a selection of visuals to choose from, also nice for fans of creating and styling their character's appearance to every little detail.

not a dire need, but a "down the road" idea I suppose.

I selected "Pet" or additional skill for my sort pets, but I'd also like to see some non-combat skills too.

These could include: locate a treasure chest (same way as the Antiquities thing works); send a scamp to retrieve a survey report; increase running speed; etc..

I think people have been asking for an AoE Taunt for a long time, but it might be a balance thing. Perhaps if it had a cap on how many targets it could taunt.

    An Aura DoT
I would prefer scribing skills to supplement my builds, not redefine them. To that end, any build can use an aura DoT.

My biggest grief with the current system is the limitations of damage types to only a handful of abilities.
    Nuts!
