Now that we have our final PTS patch notes, what's the thing you're looking forward to the most?

My plans are to:

• Max out the rapport with Tanlorin and Zerith-Var on the two characters I think mesh with them the most.
• Refresh/update my Dawnwood-themed house with the new furnishings.
• Maybe try out the new BGs, but a wrist injury makes a lot of high-APM gameplay tough for me.

Not sure I am going to end up playing ESO all that much between a couple weeks after Q4 drops and Q1 update next year. There just isn't that much for me to do.

8v8 Battlegrounds

8v8 sounds interesting on paper and it's a new dynamic, why not. Other than that there's no real content this year anymore beside events which got boring years ago already to count.

Zerith-Var as a second dungeon companion option can probably wait until next year since I don't do harder content often

They kinda botched the BG update by not listening to the BG community's feedback on the (poorly implemented) competitive queue, so nothing, really.

The 8m range buff from battlespirt hasn't been moved to the reach passive in assault. So BG will still be a ranged dumpster fire.

after 5+ years of screaming for some attention to bgs, ending up with this is a letdown

For me it's just last patch, but a couple sets I used got deleted from the game.

Nothing, and I'm a PvPer.

I hate fighting groups of people and I hate traveling everywhere to hardly find fights anywhere (population shrinkage)...

BGs was the only solace I had. Now they've turned it into an ego-chal team v team or ball group v ball group. Only place I could reasonably find fights and I'm almost positive it'll be 'dead' in a month.

As someone who has spent the last few years 99% in BGs, nothing.

It's a huge letdown to watch ZOS waste what I assume is possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars on concept, design, animation, and implementation, only to deliver a new BG system is that so completely flawed. It really wouldn't have cost that much more to put a small team on task of designing and delivering a functional MMR. Instead, they're (yet again) going to release incomplete content and won't touch it again, possibly for years, based on their past actions.

Yet another patch that doesn't inspire me to open my wallet again. [snip]

Nothing now. Was hoping banner bearer would be improved... but, now that's dead. Have to wait for another update now, and that's still an if.

Nothing.
-banner bearer Is DoA due to needing double baring and %recovery punishment.
-The BG updates are...bad.
-the companions are, well companions, so useless and annoying.
-the lack of content is depressing.
-the class and gear balance changes can be summarised as "made Templar worse"
-the new houses are....meh.
-the new gear sets are widely either side of balanced.
-the golden pursuits system is underwhelming at best.

I loved how they nerfed necros yet again, ignoring all of the feedback from a players.
Looking forward for a future nerfs. I hope one day class just get deleted to free me of my misery.

I agree they would have been better to use the update to resolve many of the longstanding issues or provide QOL enhancements instead of introducing new content no one asked for.
