Why hide it? It's a competitive game mode and I want to see my MMR in the UI. I want to know how much +/- MMR every BG gives me. I should be able to track my rating and not have it be a complete mystery. It should not be hidden or obfuscated. It should be 100% transparent to the competitive player.

At least in the first draft of the API patch notes for this patch there was a function added to access it. Perhaps that will still be possible so addons will be able to display it at least? We'll have to see what the next api patch notes say.0 -
