Yes I have many but mostly play on two. It was fun getting Grand Master Crafter at level 34, being able to mail things to myself during Mayhem, ease of mailing things for crafting decon, experimenting with different class and & combos, and also I just really like making characters and always want more. I have 20 on NA, 20 on EU, and 9 and 5 respectively on my alt. Don't grind as much though, I'm still only something like 652 CP on my alt on NA and level 29 on EU.

It used to be that Crown Gifting could ease some of the expense, but ZOS made it pretty hard to get Gifting turned on. This can result in Crowns being "trapped" on accounts and being unable to share. In the end, it is just easier to ignore Crowns and the Crown Store than it is to try and convince ZOS that the alternate account isn't a worry for them.

Agreed lol. Ironically it's been a boon to my wallet I don't spend as much on Crowns.

Honestly lately zos has made it almost painful to have more than one account if you intend to actually play each one. So I just suggest not doing that.

I have only one account. I have 3 toons but play with one only while the others get covered with dust over time.

I think it is very wonderful. What exactly are you spending your money on within ESO?
I mainly spend my money on medicinal herbs for PvP.

@Coo_PnT the answer to that is housing.... I am never happy with the buildings ZoS supply these days, I've gotten into the habit of hiding those where possible and building my own.

I prefer to spend my time doing that rather than farming Heartwood (which I have the most awful rng for) so I frequently end up buying it! Mundane Rune and Decorative Wax too...... cannot wait to see how the promised increased droprate next update translates to prices! Also although I do collect some style mats used in furniture myself, again I find it too time consuming, so I buy them and omg some of those still, even with price decreases, can drain a bank fast!

I do daily crafting writs across all 3 accounts, as I am on PC, with the associated addons, that reduces the time taken doing them. Pretty much anything I could wish to sell can be collected from those rewards...... materials(from rewards and surveys), Master Writs(either sell or do), vouchers from completed Master Writs converted into items to sell etc etc.

I'm in the process of building a house of books..... not a library... a house made of bookcases, the amount of Heartwood I've used is already eyewatering.

i did that too! i ended up spending over 7M just for bookcases, about 180 in total i believe. i didnt bothered with buying the heartwood AND the culanda laquer i needed for the alinor bookcases, so i just bought them or let someone build them specifically for me and pay him with gold

Got one account, 20 characters and at least 15 lvl 50 characters deleted to make room for shifted interests and ideas... My current roster seems to be final, but we'll see. I've been aiming to have all 20 characters usable in different things, I've got currently 12 characters I use in dungeons (oakensorc, oakenblade, stamcanist, tankblade, tankDK, tankplar, tankcro, tankden, tanksorc, healden, healblade, healsorc) and I aim to make this 14 (tankcanist and healcro still being leveled). This only leaves 6 overland quester/daily farmer characters (I can't play regular DD builds in dungeons due to wrist/finger pain).

I've been toying with the idea of getting a second account where I could recreate some of the characters I had in the past, but I don't think I have the stamina and interest to farm dungeon sets and transmutes and research items etc etc etc on a second account. Technically I could just use crafted gear I'd mail over from my main account, but it's not very appealing. I'd rather just have more slots since I already have 96% of all motif chapters collected and all the yummies on my main account.
