This has happened twice for me as an EU player you are shutting servers down at PRIME time. Work all day to relax in game. It wasnt cheap to participate in the 5 day early access and I have lost 2 out of my 5 days play time.
Only for the ones that don't need European customers...Standard for any US based company to patch their servers at prime time for Europe

I agree it was poor planning to do the launch mainentance in the middle of the last day of early access. It sucks more for the US players who just had a 14 hour down time due to a database issue.Early access 3 days is a comercial selling point for ppl that buy the preorder. Removing 1 of those 3 days (for ppl that have jobs) is a bad move according to me. Do the damn maintenance during US night time instead.
Yes, this is a legitimate concern. We PAY for access and any non-announced/non-scheduled downtime, should be compensated for back to the customer.

You haven't paid for access yet. The pre-order granted you early access, which was free. Tomorrow, the 30 days that you also received for free upon purchase of the game kick in, in which after those 30 days, your subscription will kick in.
I got over 36 hours of play in over the 5 day early access, and I work full time. It's not nearly as bad as people are saying.
