Endlessly falling

Im sure some have experienced this before. Lost connection but game didnt log out, so manually exited the game and restarted.
When i come back in my character is endlesly falling screaming, cant do anything, not teleport since teleport doesnt work in cyrodill anymore where i happened to be at the time.
Anyone know a fix for this endlesy falling?

I've fallen through the world a few times now. eventually you will hit the bottom. Once you get there the /stuck command will kill you if your not already dead and give you the option to go to the closest shrine.

/stuck to kill you and relog helps from what I've heard, never encountered the problem myself. Usually if I lose connection, I remain in the world (won't kick me out) and I find out only by interactables not showing up on mouseover, so then I Alt+f4 out and start it up again, because if I wait for logout, it stops for about 2 minutes on 0 seconds left and then kicks me out with "unknown error occurred" anyway. Restart is easier.

Apart from "The Ghosts of Westtry" being still bugged 2 hotfixes later and sometimes heavy lags in dungeons (didn't encounter them so far after last patch) I have nothing to complain about - other than minor things like 1 crypt having the difficulty of a 4man dungeon (packs of 5-6 mobs respawning every 20 seconds and elite that kills you in 2 attacks) and one other crypt having wrong map showed up..

Says i cant use /stuck because of in a position where /stuck is not allowed. Anyway im waiting for game to be back online, maybe it fixed itself.

I have had some very humorous similar situations. I like to test the bounds of exploration so I'm always trying to jump up to things that I shouldn't be able to get to. On 3 separate occasions I jumped up and just kept launching up like superman and it would carry me off in some random direction at high speed as I go, then eventually I would start to fall forever , or at least until I got bored of falling and hit /stuck lol.

No but I ran through some stairs once. My character didn't scream but I would've thought they would have. They were made of stone.

This happens to me a lot (like 6 times or so) and it's always when I am looting.

My bad habits on the keys has me jump when I exit a loot situation, like a chest or whatever instead of hitting the exit key. Then evidently while still in the air, I hit the exit key, basically both nearly the same time. I end up with blue sky and falling.

Not sure if this helps anyone, but since I have made the effort to be sure and close my menus instead of jumping, it hasn't happened to me.

Every time I've fallen through, I had to do /stuck, end up resing in the same place, log, come back, and /stuck again then the second time it seemed to work. I haven't explored other options like using traveling to a friend to see if that can get me out.
