Companion (Mirri) not progressing FG

So I just got Mirri. Did FG and MG daily to unlock, (I'm already 10 in both). Mages guild unlocked, but no repeat quest, the NPC has no blue thing on thier head. Move on to Fighters, FG doesn't unlock and now I can't do FG daily/repeatable either. I can go to other characters and pickup the quests.

Tried:
character select
full logout
exit client
log into another character and back into bugged one
restart pc

Same problem as this thread from 2021. But I can't seem to fix.

I'm going to wait for daily reset tonight, then launch in game ticket if it doesn't fix.

EDIT: so maybe daily weren't repeatable and were bugged or I was getting shares. I don't know. But I do know that Mirri doesn't have FG.

Edit2: So since I had a daily already started. It didn't enable the skill like for my companion. Once that was cleared and the daily reset. It worked the next day.

If you already did one MG and one FG daily on that character today, you will not get assigned another until reset. In order to do others, you need to get a share from someone else and hope it is not the same as one you’ve already done that day.

If the FG guild line is not unlocking for Mirri upon handing in the quest with her standing there (companions can despawn on their own sometimes, so I always check to make sure they’re still there for the turn in), then that’s a bug.

Yea standing there both times.

Aren't those blue quests repeatable though? I guess not, but I swear I kept running them on the first week of scribing.

I just ran on other character and I can't do blue quest again. I swear did them back to back when scribing came out.

If you picked one up the previous day but didn't hand it in then you would get a second quest but other than that the only way to do more than one is to get a share from another player.

Even then it must be one you have not already done/handed in that day, the maximum possible with shares is six per day for each guild. 🙂

There are fifteen you can do per character per day for the MG and FG, one for each of the five main alliance zones:

Getting all fifteen can require some coordination. I store each one on a different alt so I can share it to a friend and get it back on the character I want to do it on.

Ok thanks. So I edit to remove that part.

But Mirri is still missing FG. When I play again tomorrow morning, I'll run FG first up and see if it counts. There's no previous day quest sitting there so maybe that would be it?

Ok so I had no queata from previous day and she aquired the FG skill line and mages also progressed.
