Certain Races are still not Hybridized

Why haven't races like Breton and Redguard been updated to fit the new model of hybrid classes? Other Races like Orc, High Elf, and Dark Elf were updated to give both weapon and spell damage but these two Races are limited solely to bonuses for Magicka (Breton) or Stamina (Redguard). On top of that these two Races are typically 4-5% lower DPS than others.

Tbh it's just another aspect of ''hybridization'' that was left unfinished. You have truly Hybrid races like Dunmer/Khajiit/Argonian, you have partially hybrid ones like Altmer/Orc/Imperial and then you have stuff like Bosmer/Breton/Redguard/Nord that aren't hybrid at all.

You also have stuff like the Breton spell resistance passive when pretty much every other source of +Resistance is just ''Armor'' now and works for both magic and physical damage. Light Armor and Breton passives are the only sources of +Spell Res that I can think of.

The racials imbalance sucks, but hybridization has opened up soooo many possibilities with builds.

Personally, I love hybridization. I've been able to try so many creative builds, some of which work really well.

Those races are a little hard to hybridize without breaking the lore or overtuning them, although I wouldnt complain a power boost to my Bretons :P Personally I like them making hybrids more vialbe although I think they are a bit too enthusiastic about that. Some set could also stay pure.

They aren't part of those races' identities. Bretons are natural mages and resistant to magic; they aren't known for physical endurance. Redguard are "the most naturally talented warriors in Tamriel"; they aren't known for being able cast lots of spells. Although the same could said of magicka Orcs and stamina Altmer.

Redguards used to have higher agility and their culture has a lot of very schooled martial tradition, so they should probably show some more finesse. In ESO game mechanics, I daresay this would mean critical chance or damage. Although in TESI, they had a bonus to melee damage as well as hit chance per every three levels, some maybe some weapon damage would fit too.

Hybridization is the worst thing in the game, because of this classes have lost their individuality for the sake of players who want to play on one class all the roles, etc. And what in the end? Hybridization is an unfinished piece of a big joke that has no future. Don't ruin races with the same thing.

I second this. I want to play a magika sorcerer because... i've chosen a sorcerer jet i had to give up half my morf to stamina and the stamina version is still the best dps.

Hybridization is like the chempion point system. An unfinished boring mess.
Simply reverting it to the previous version would improve the game.

After seeing the removal of stealth from bosmers. Making the berserker race (nords) into tanks, and the traditional tanky race (orcs) into berserkers. I have come to the conclusion that “breaking the lore” is not that big of a deal to zos.

In many ways it’s also shoehorned creativity, halved the amount of classes, deleted a lot of group design/theorycrafting decisions, worsened balance, and forced what used to be a niche playstyle on everyone, regardless of whether they actually wanted it. Hybridization was best as a niche build design option, but now it’s annoyingly forced for any semblance of a competitive build.
