Logging In - Requestng Character Load...

I seem to be getting stuck on the "Logging In - Requesting character load..." Sometimes I'm able to get right into the game, sometimes it will sit here for 10 minutes and crash the game. I have re-installed the launcher, restarted computer, checked router and net speed all of which are working and running fine.

I have been having the same issue for two days. Mine has been like this for hours at a time. I am pretty upset. It has been like this since the update and support has not contacted me

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM! A small patch ruined it for me and now the $30 I paid more for early game play went down the drain!

I heard form suport but they did not even read my email sent me auto junk.

ME to I paid $80 for a loading random picture screen!!!! I think whatever they did to try to fix you missed me up! The game was workign fine for the first 2 days of 5 days ealry release then they gave me a small patch. Right after the patch the launcher gave me a error and would not have the play button, I had to do a repair to get rid of the error. Now I can hit play and log into the game but it just shows a random picture forever and it does not ever go to the charactor select screen!

This is not anything to do with my ISP and %100 percent to do with that small patch! Again today was a small patch, even smaller one, but it changed nothing.

It been 3 days now and my early release is totaly ruined I paid $30 more for the 5 early days-- I dont care about the junk they giving. And I did not get to play them days. This time that can never be givin back, people are already playing and going way past me. Poeple who paid $30 less then I.

Yes I contacted them and yes I got replies-- totaly worthless replies that is oviously they never even read my emails. Sugesting me to run patch and mayeb do a repair. what up with that? are they realy that ***. I told them it a patch that ruined me and that I had to do repair to even log in. oviously they never read my emails and sent me auto responses, maybe the 3rd email be the charm and the 4th day. somehow doubt it. they need fuckign take back the last small patch!!!

I got so much hate in me right now.

Hey! I've had the same problem. Sometimes it logs me in instantly, but 4/5 times it stucks me on character load. Also, when I get into the game I can get stuck into normal loading screens no matter how big the area behind the loading screen is... for example going into a house "stuck at loading screen". Like WTF, I paid 55 euros for a game so I can watch loading screens and "waiting for character load" screens for hours.

Due to the amount of players currently trying to log in, we advise that they wait for a few minutes or try to reopen the client.

I tried waiting for hours, and then logging back in; Did not work, still getting 4 times out of 5 stuck on the character load. Its so nice to play a game which u can barely play for 5 minutes after 10 hours of trying to log in.

Same here. IMPERIAL EDITION and 5 days early release.
i was able to play only 20minutes, trying during hours since the release.

WTF.
