Why many adornments still gender limited when there are already non-binary characters in game

More options is never a bad thing. While we are at it, can we have the adornments we have unlocked available at character creation?

Fun fact: there's a glitch in which your male character's equipped beard will appear on a female model you play as in a dream sequence in Orsinium. I have the screenshot floating somewhere (it's been 4+ years) but it looked pretty good since the beard in question was of the type that's just texture, so no clipping issues.

That's kinda funny you brought it up but I'd agree they should develop both versions same as bestial races supports etc.

Seems fair. All genders should be able to access all adornments, facial hair, hair styles, costumes etc.

I disagree. female characters should not be having beards/mustaches. Just no.

Are things Gender locked, or Sex locked?

If we want to be precise, the aspect chosen in the character creator is the body type.
There are some beards that are adornment and they are only for the male character, at least from what I have found.

I think some of them are available for all characters. I mean, why not?! Most look like fake beards anyway. Could roleplay-wise be used as a part of a disguise, for example.

I just looked, and though I may have missed one, it seems like all the beards/goatees are available for male characters only.

*I found two. One only for Khajiit, a Lynx Chops, that give a mutton chops type facial fur, and then a sailor's squid goatee that doesn't say whether it can be used on female characters.

So, maybe there are more that UESP doesn't have or has listed wrongly, since I don't like facial hair, I don't pay attention in game to whether or not I can use them (and since I play male characters, it also wouldn't tell me whether a female character can use them)

Is allowing a male to wear a flower in his hair even harder than adding a brand new gender to the game?

Will this be another technical difficulty that could blow up the entire game and take years to solve?

Not sure about the blowing up bit. It won't ever be resolved in ESO1.

We got a character that, without having the word 'non-binary' associated with it (the character) would have been viewed completely differently without that adjective.

What we have is what it was viewed as 'safe' to market. Not what might have been wanted.

We won't be afforded the luxury of being able to create a non-binary character of own own expression, should we desire that.

For those players who feel critical of this addition: It took me quite a long time to realise that most female characters in game, were actually being played by male players. There are many reasons for that, not all of them are obvious.
