Forced log-out Error Code 318 (spamming) - But I have not used chat at all :)
I am having this error too.
I am experiencing major lag in Glenumbra. Eventually I would get forced-logout and this error. However I haven't even been chatting for hours.
Whats going on?
I have just gotten this error, which logged me out. When I logged back in I could not summon my pet. I logged back out, did a repair and all was well. Five mins later I jumped a stream and now I am stuck in the air. I use /stuck but it keeps killing me and sending me back into the air... report bug and ticket time.
I got kicked for this just last session, and now I'm really curious about it. I've chatted/spoken to precisely one person in this game, and that only briefly.
Either the game is collecting bad metrics (worrisome), or chatbots have figured out how to spoof them (also worrisome). I did notice a lot of the chat spam was unintelligible characters, but I couldn't tell if it was jjust a form of l33t I'm unfamiliar with or what was going on. (I just tuned it out, y'know. Like you do.)

I have had this issue a while now.
The issue comes when there is lag.
(I can reproduce it every time)
Sometimes my client hits a spike and my Down
speed is momentarily disrupted. (from the server end)
*I tested it while streaming music and my music was not interrupted*
My own enemy animations and of the people around
me go on a auto pilot of sorts
or some signal gets through and says X is happening.
Seems to me that the confirmation part on the client is not registering
the bounce back that the command was sent that I attacked.
so I attack again with a attack skill waiting for lag to clear hoping I don't die spamming my attacks.
There lies the problem. Our client doesn't get confirmation the attack was received and we spam with the attack. and triggers the kick.
So basically your latency tolerance is off for attack / combat commands
(I have seen this before working with devs in a few other games)
This usually happens when a zone suddenly drops process
or gets a bog down.
So in essence communication gets disrupted to the client
and client is still sending the attack action for combat (example).
And triggers kick.
My error code each time is a Error Code 318
but specifically Error Code 318:6:3:1181:2
this last time.
