The need to re-balance jewelry master writ rewards

The jewelry writs seem like they are unbalanced because so many of the equipment writs call for older styles so they don’t give many vouchers. As time goes by they decrease in value, but jewelry writs don’t have a style so they don’t decrease (as far as I know).

I’d rather have the equipment writs retain their value longer. That seems more fair to me.

if jewelry writs were reduced anymore, they would return to being just as worthless as before the jewelry temper revamp

Yes, I agree. The revamp made improving jewelry items accessible to more players, and jewelry master writs would still be a viable XP farm for power leveling. It would just no longer reward writ vouchers way out of proportion to the level of effort needed to be eligible to complete them - which was the whole point of my post.

XP from master writs is just an icing on the cake for me. The only reason I'm doing them is the vouchers. If the amount of vouchers for purple jewelry writs were to be reduced to the level of clothing/woodworking/blacksmithing writs, then I would just trash them (just like I now trash purple jewelry writs that require triune/swift/bloodthirsty traits).

Purple swift writs pay out more than 5 vouchers more than their healthy/arcane/robust counterparts. It's always worth it to buy the trait items to do those ones.

I do the writs with the materials that I collect myself, so they cost nothing for me. That is why I do not do swift/triune/bloodthirsty. (I do have some slaughterstone, but I prefer to hold on to it.)
That is why I was happy to do those juicy gold jewelry writs before the jewelry update. I had enough chromium plating collected to do it and had no way to sell it since I'm not in a guild.

This post is a prime example of the idea that ESO players will never be 100% happy with this game. Someone is legitimately arguing for a nerf of something that’s actually good.

I’m sorry that you’re swimming in rewards. Really, my heart bleeds for you. But if you don’t like it, sell some of them. Give them away. Just don’t do the jewelry writs. But don’t go calling for reward nerfs. We don’t need that “teacher, you forgot to assign us homework” energy, lol.
