Is MYM working as intended?

The excuse is real. The servers can NOT handle more players. TBH, I think the realistic cap is about 120 players with no lag. For some reason I don't lag during this event except when I chunk a meat bag into a ball and do 300k or more damage. Then the screen freezes for a sec. That's the only lag I've seen but I know other ppl are lagging.

ZOS needs to face the fact a PVP event really can't handle more than 120 MAX. Maybe even 80 - 100 total. Design a came around this number 40v40, 50 v 50 that has a timer.

This MYM is really a fail.

Ok, I've noted ppl that lag a lot and disconnect play on a wireless and often don't have a really good internet. Their computers will meet requirements but not much over required. I use an ethernet connection for this game only. Also, the computer requirements are not realistic. I play on 2 computers and can see a lot of difference. On my studio computer with less RAM, etc and wireless connection, I do get lag and spikes but that computer meets ESO's standards. On my high end 64 gig gamng computer with an ethernet, I never lag or disconnect (except during MYM when I do 300k plus damage in one chunk of a meatbag and then only for a split second) And I play with graphics at max. I can't do this with my normal computer.

It's the same with WOW. I can play WOW on ultra settings on my gaming computer, but not on my work studio computer. I can log on because it meets required but not a smooth playing experience.

Just go play WOW at this point. It doesn't seem like an actual conversation is the goal here, just complaining and bellyaching that things aren't how "they should be".
    • Tybalt Kaine Khajiit Nightblade Aldmeri Dominion
    • PC/NA
    • Guildmaster- Lucky Raven
    • Knight of Marrow - Blackfeather Academy
    • Adepti- The Witches Goblet
    • "Nightblade healer huh? How does that work?"
    • "I drain the blood of our enemies and fire it into you. It's a lot less messy than it sounds, and yeah I'm basically a Vampire without the whole AGH FIRE BAD"

    I recently downgraded from a Ryzen 2700x, 32gb ram, 6650xt.

I now play on a SER5 mini PC, 5560u processor, 64gb ram, no graphics card.

I quit Greyhost for Ravenwatch last year on account of crashing on a Friday night and getting stuck waiting outside the campaign. I always lagged in big battles even with settings on minimum. On the new mini PC, I never crash.

Whatever the issue is/was, for me it's not hardware not meeting specs as a downgrade drastically improved my crashing issues.

Even GH at prime time is nothing but pvdoor.

I've been playing nearly 12+ hours a day since MYM and 100% have been on during "Prime Time".

I have no idea what you're talking about it being only pvdoors. There have been multiple - multi hour long battles for keeps.

I've had an absolute blast this MYM (and I play on DC who gets double teamed more then not so we are usually gated lol).

Ok the lore is already suggesting that AD and DC merge. It's a natural fit ADC. The quest line in High Isles definitely implied (spoiler party)

    Well thanks for the spoilers.

Yeah, I really don't understand why so many PvP players rant about "PvDoor" and "zergs" and "ballgroups." From what I have seen, they always throw these terms around in attempts to disparage factions other than their own-- because naturally those terms never apply to their own faction.

Last night on PCEU some player sent me a hate whisper that I didn't see until later. "zerg zerg zerg litl bot^^" As hate whispers go, it was pretty lame, but obviously it was supposed to be an insult. And what prompted it? I was on my way to solo capture an EP resource for a mission, and on the way there I ran into an outpost to help 3 or 4 other DC players defend it against some EP players, and apparently I managed to get onto this player's death recap. So I guess now a "zerg" consists of half a dozen players or less-- but only if they're from an enemy alliance, of course!

Meanwhile, during the last two nights on PCNA there were some huge 2-way and 3-way battles. Two nights ago, DC had one of EP's scrolls and EP was attacking the keep en masse to try to get it back. Again and again we fought them off and drove them away, and it was a lot of fun. But they kept coming back, and eventually they took the keep and reclaimed their scroll. Never once did I feel inclined to hate-whisper any of the EP players to berate them for "zerging," or to rage at them for all the times they killed me. And last night, DC was trying to reclaim one of our scrolls that AD and EP were fighting over, and there was a huge 3-way battle raging. I spent most of the time observing the battle while dead. DC had the lowest pop at that time, so we were badly outnumbered. But somehow, I seriously doubt that the dozens and dozens of AD or EP players ever thought of themselves as a "zerg" or a "ballgroup."
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!
