Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online PTS v10.1.2! This week, you can test out the new daily quest for the Witches Festival and improvements to Home Tours. Additionally, this patch includes fixes and improvements to Gold Road, High Isle, and Base Game content including Infinite Archive, Tales of Tribute, and some furnishing item updates. Home Tours
Improvements

• Updated the randomization for the Browse and Recommended lists to avoid listings being shown in the same order for everyone. This helps ensure that listings are presented fairly, without certain listings getting a temporary advantage by being randomized to the top of the list.
• Added a notification that informs you when your home is chosen for the Recommended list.

UI

• The reset timer on the recommendation dialogue now displays the correct time to the weekly reset, instead of always saying “<1m”.
• Fixed various rare UI errors within Home Tours.
• Slightly adjusted the text for the main Home Tours tutorial to read more naturally.

Witches Festival
The Witches Festival is back with a new surprise – Lord Hollowjack himself strides forth from the clutter and darkness of Detritus to claim you as his next victim. Show him how big of a mistake that would be!

A new daily quest is available inside any of the Witchmother Breweries located in the wilderness of Glenumbra, Auridon, or Stonefalls. Priest Maxien Roundille will set you on the path to rescuing some of Hollowjack's haunted victims before confronting the Daedra Lord himself, but be warned! Though the activities up to that point can be done alone, Hollowjack himself is the most fearsome event boss to date and is balanced for 6 to 12 players of average skill and gear. Defeat him each day for his own unique Dremora Plunder Skull (sourced by the event quest reward) as well as an achievement that grants you a Hollowjack trophy furnishing. Continue to help others defeat the Lord of Fear for a chance to receive a Hollowjack bust furnishing from his gourdy remains!

This year's Plunder Skulls may contain a myriad of offerings, including spooky furnishings, recipes, alchemy supplies, and other treasures. Their Dremora Plunder Skull counterparts – available from the usual sources – have a chance to drop Witches Festival crafting writs (from which you can get Hollowjack style pages for those who need them), Glenmoril treasure maps, Crowborne Hunter style pages, or this year's new offerings – the Eltheric Revenant outfit style, the Plunder Skull Blunder memento, or fragments for the Senchal Horned Owl pet.

The Witches Festival grab bag this year contains the following items:

• Festival masks: Hollowjack Spectre, Pumpkin Spectre, Scarecrow Spectre, and Thicketman Spectre.
• Apple-Bobbing Cauldron Fragments
• Skeletal Marionette Memento Parts
• Throwing Bones Memento Fragments
• Marshmallow Toasty Treat Emote
• Witch’s Bonfire Dust Memento
• Ghastly Visitation Memento
• Bonedust Pigment for the Witch-Tamed Bear Dog
• Bound style pages for the Witchmother's Servant outfit
• Possessed Shreds for the Ghost Netch pet
• Tome of Forbidden Appetites memento
• Bound versions of the Grave Dancer weapon style pages

Event Tickets come from the first boss-type creature that would drop a plunder skull. You can get two (2) Event Tickets per day this way, all in one parcel, as a drop from the boss.

This event also introduces the first TWO of FIVE total fragments for the final morph for this year's anniversary-themed collectible, the Haven of the Five Companions house! The Impresario will carry these fragments as usual, along with bound versions of this year's new offerings.

Skill Styling

• Corrected an issue that caused Skill Style selection elements to appear for skills that did not have styles to select from.

PVP Sets

• Plaguebreak: Fixed an issue where this set’s explosion damage could not be blocked.

Class Sets

• Gardener of Seasons: Fixed an issue where the effects from Harbinger of Fall did not obey target caps.
• Beacon of Oblivion: This set now increases damage done instead of damage done to monsters while no pets are active. It now grants 5% damage done and Healing Done while Battle Spirit is active, which increases to 15% when Battle Spirit is inactive

Developer Comment:

Based on feedback we’re readjusting the “non-pet” bonuses to be more consistent in their effectiveness between PvE and PvP, while focusing on the values granted instead of what type of bonus is granted.

• Updated Ithelia's teeth to lessen the appearance of shadows.

• Fixed a bug that prevented the Mudcrabs in the West Weald from dropping chitin.

  • A duplicate Saint Alessia deck in the collection UI has been removed.

• The new alchemy-related achievements are not correctly triggering and have been removed for the time being. They will be re-introduced in a future update. These achievements are:

  General
  • When equipped with the Illusive Molag Bal polymorph, some small adjustments were made so that you will now sound even more like the Daedric Prince himself!
  
  Infinite Archive
  • General
    • Fabled monsters will now only use proper adornments for their race and gender combinations.
    • Updated the default enchantments for Beacon of Oblivion and Monolith of Storms weapons.
  • Verses and Visions
    • Updated the sound effects for the Grasping Limbs Verse and removed the erroneous icon from appearing in your active effects.
    • Updated the sound effects for the Extravagant Elixers Verse.
    • The Necrotic Support Vision will now always grant resources if you defeat a monster, not just went you get the final blow.
    • The erroneous Undead Avatar icon will no longer appear in your active effects.
    • The Adaptive Athlete vision will now correctly only grant additional stamina and magicka recovery when health is missing.
    • The Apocryphal Emmisary vision will now correctly apply or reapply to companions that are summoned or resummoned.
    • The Apocryphal Augur from Apocryphal Emmisary will no longer display a hostile telegraph.
    • The Scorching Support vision now indicates the time accurately on its tooltip.
  • Tho’at Replicanum
    • Tho’at’s Dragon Shard will now always be available to engage when intended.
  
  Witches Festival
  • Corrected the placement and visibility of an additional set of rogue decorations throughout Tamriel.
  
  Homes
  • Haven of the Companions
    • Cleaned up some texture issues on the roof of the home.
    • Closed a hole that was present under one of the rock overhangs.
  • Seabloom Villa
    • Adjusted the collision outside of the home so you can no longer reach unintended areas.
    • Slightly raised the height at which characters die when falling off the peninsula.
  Furnishings
  • Fixed the collision on the furnishing “Dawnwood Platter, Feast” so that you no longer will be able to pass through it.
  • Fixed an issue where you’d slide off the top of the furnishing “Colovian Glassblower's Furnace” if you tried to stand on it.
  • Adjusted the collision on the following furnishings to better match the visuals:
    • Colovian Staircase, Straight
    • Colovian Staircase, Westerly Bend
    • Colovian Staircase, Easternly Bend
    • Colovian Interior Archway, Plaster
    • Colovian Garden Wall, Straight
  • Reduced interact range of the Scribing Altar to bring it in line with other existing Housing crafting stations.
  • Removed Heartwood and Woodworking requirements from Praxis: Colovian Fireplace, Stone since it has no wooden components.
  • Altered ingredients and tradeskill requirements on several new Master Writ Gold Furnishing Recipes based on internal feedback to bring them up to standards:
    • Diagram: Colovian Chandelier, Grapes - Removed Enchanting Tradeskill Requirement and Mundane Rune ingredient; new ingredient is x20 Rakeipa.
    • Pattern: Colovian Tapestry, Red Diamond - Removed Provisioning Tradeskill Requirement and Decorative Wax; new ingredient is x50 Ruby.
    • Praxis: Colovian Glassblower's Furnace - Removed Woodworking Tradeskill Requirement and Heartwood; new ingredient is x20 Rakeipa.
    • Design: Dawnwood Platter, Feast - Enchanting Tradeskill Requirement and Mundane Rune ingredient; new ingredient is x25 Fish.
    • Blueprint: Colovian Keg, Gigantic Wine - Removed Provisioning Tradeskill Requirement and Decorative Wax; new ingredient is x50 Surilie Grapes.
  • Corrected an issue where the furnishing "Apocrypha Jewelry Crafting Station" would let you interact with it from much further away then you should have been able to.
  
  Cyrodiil
  • Fixed a spot near Farragut Keep Mine where you could get stuck inside a hill.
  Grahtwood
  • Fixed several locations where back-facing geometry (the inside “void” of placed fixtures) was visible.
  • Fixed a spot near the Falinesti Winter Site where you could get stuck between assets.
  
  Crafting
  • Fixed a UI error that could occur when viewing Outfit Styles after dyeing a costume.
