Most of these bosses should not have immunity phases.

I have an immunity phase, too. It is simply staying away from bosses that have excessive immunity phases.

I don't even try to solo them. I actually don't think about them at all, these days.

No, never doing them ever again.
I can't tell you how much I loathe these WB in this zone. But I think with each new DLC, the content is getting harder and harder. I get mechanics, but the last few new zones have been ridiculous with the amount of health and shields these bosses have. I get one shotted by something at every single of them, even though trying to keep my distance, but AOEs everywhere, nowhere to roll dodge, keep getting stunned. It's hard to keep my own mechanics going. Not fun at all.

I’m actually glad i cant solo them. I think they’re quite lengthy and the mechanics can be quite overloaded but all in all, thank you for making the content more difficult overworld.

P.S. same with public dungeons. Bosses are hard which is actually v nice. I spent some time with a returning friend and a low level the other day helping then with a public dungeon boss and man oh man, this chonker was tough which my retuning friend I could tell was happy about.

Are they really harder, or do they just employ mechanics designed to drag out the battle?

I can see the point of the poll, but I can't answer because I've never tried
I've never tried because I can see it would take longer than I want to spend, when I could be doing other things instead

All soloable but some of them take way too long thanks to immunity, adds, and dps checks for boss healing.

I don't know whether world bosses and other content (such as public dungeons) are getting more difficult with each new DLC or chapter, but IMHO the bosses should vary a bit in difficulty such that one or two are easier than average and one or two are harder than average (meaning the average for that particular zone). That's generally the case in the base game zones, and it helps give players something to aspire to and a sense of progression or improvement as far as being able to solo at least one of the world bosses, then another, then another, until finally they can solo even the hardest boss in that zone. There are some world bosses in some base game zones that I still can't solo, and others that I've only fairly recently been able to solo, and it gives me a sense of accomplishment when I can finally solo one that had once been beyond me for whatever reasons.

Like that Hunger in Vvardenfell - I still remember finally taking that one down :)

Same. Saaaaaame. Thankfully there still seems to be enough people doing them to make it less of a slog but I'll be glad to take a break from them until an event or when the dailies start dropping furniture plans.

    The latter.

Fortunately they haven't taken it to its natural conclusion yet and added 'four our more players have to stand on/interact with an activator each to progress' or portal mechanics.

Guess that will come with the next chapter :naughty:

My overland sorc has shield and streak, and can avoid damage, so in theory possible to solo. But would most likely take far too much time for it to be worth it. For this reason I've never tried, so will assume that I can''t.

Last time I asked for help with Thorntooth (Centurion's Rise) someone claiming they could solo that boss came, only to leave quickly and quietly when we were both wiped. :D
Chaszmyr Do'Benrae (Dunmer Magsorc Vampire Infinity) ~ Dusk Doublespeak (Breton Magplar Werewolf) ~ Stan of Rimari (Nord Dragonknight Tank) ~ Bunto Kim Alhambra (Redguard Magplar Paladin) ~ Alicyankali (Argonian Magicka Necromancer Draugr Kin) ~ Gruuman Odinfan (Orsimer Magplar) ~ Boymans van Beuningen (Khajiit Stam Warden Bowzerker) ~ Flannelflail (Imperial Stamina Nightblade Brawler PVP) ~ Calastir (Altmer Stamina Dragonknight) ~ Sallystir (Bosmer Stam Warden Frostbite PVP) ~ Zalastir (Altmer Magicka Warden Ice Storm) ~ Capt Peach (Nord Stamcanist Crux Cannon) ~ PC EU ~ Flynt Westwood (Bosmer Magicka Dragonknight) ~ PC NA ~ since May 26th, 2021.

Yeah, there is a difference between "solo and win" and "I went in there by myself". Per the last definition, I can solo all content in this game.

Been saying this since Greymore. Making challenging overland content is not going to appeal to most players, and it is just going to result in a lot of frustration when those zones have lower populations and you can't get a group together to get some of the encounters done. Yet they continue to make overland zone content more and more difficult, and I don't think it is a good trend for the game.

I love a good challenge - in a vet dungeon, trial, or arena. When I do them, I make sure that I go in prepared and with a properly equipped group. But when I'm doing storyline, I care less about trying to play ultra-sweaty than I do about enjoying the storyline content, the scenery, exploring, etc. And when a nasty/frustrating encounter disrupts that, it is an immediate reason to disengage and do something else.

And this is coming from a veteran player who CAN complete these encounters. I can only imagine what it is like for a newer player on a lower level character, who knows less about the mechanics of a game.

IMO, not a good trend to continue. I think Craglorn is probably about as difficult as an overland area should be. Save the really truly difficult and engaging encounters for dungeons, trials, and arenas.

I'm surprised we didn't get another Craglorn yet. Such a cool zone...!
Can't answer the poll yet since I always find people doing bosses - I'll have to wait longer to be able to try them solo.

UPDATE: I soloed Tragan, the wandering minotaur, and that was quite a challenge. After that I soloed the world bosses and Oakenclaw was the most difficult of the bunch, but they were definitely a step down from Tragan.
Until now, I would say the hardest of the static World Bosses in the whole game has been the Prime Cataloger when it launched, but it got nerfed since then...

Btw I was able to solo the wandering minotaurs only thanks to a 44.2K Health build spamming Polar Wind with its actual scaling. So, no thanks, I don't want Polar Wind healing to be nerfed, otherwise such things would return impossible. I thoroughly enjoy the way it is now.
