Me: “ok you’ve got me pinned down and stunned.”

Me: ”ok I’m dead.”
Typical West Weald World Boss: "BWUHAHA I’m such a good tactician."
Me: “You know you can just cheat and reset the encounter by running to the edge of your arena like the World Bosses in other zones do, right?"

Yes, I can easily solo them.

On my high health necro, I can happily splat them all. There's only a couple of easy-to-avoid mechs that can result in death. I know folks hate on the invul phases, but I find all of the Gold Road world bosses all more enjoyable bosses than the Necrom world bosses.

I managed to duo three of them with a capable stranger recently, but solo? No way ^^

Yes, I can easily solo them.

Hezzeblah or whatever its called is a bit of a pain because the adds heal the boss if you dont kill them in time so can take longer than the other wb's but other than that, doing them on a HA Sorc build is quite straightforward

Yes, I can easily solo them.

Gotta add the mandatory 'adequately dressed' caveat here.

Basically the kind of setup I'd use for vet solo arenas or 'later arcs' in IA.

Mind you is not a quick 15s job [for me], some can be fairly tedious - although none as tedious as Libram Cathedral - and I much prefer when there is someone around.

It's a go everywhere, do everything build. It can tank, heal and sort of DPS on a one bar. The gear sets changed to Turogs + Heartlands while I was spending a lot of time on Ravenwatch. Had a break from PvP and shifted to Deadly + Seargent. That gear setup never works in any form of PvP though, so I've this week returned to Crimson + Gloom Graced.

The difference between Serg + Deadly (average 70k DPS on a dummy) with roll dodging to Crimson + Gloom Graced (average 40k on a dummy) but being able to face tank everything just makes me want to tank everything. On the rare occasions I do dungeons, I can queue as a tank or healer, and often out DPS a lot of randos in PUGs. It will not hold a candle to an actual high DPS character, but they're as rare as rocking horse poop nowadays.

My Answer wasnt really there - "I dont even try to solo them"

for me overland content should be easy and I solo only World Bosses I can quite easily kill with a DD set up and a tank companion. So I do WB dailies only if the zone ist busy.

I want to play my roleplay builds (decent DPS builds but not Meta) and enjoy the Zone and Quests instead of using the same 3 set ups I use anywhere else - if I want a Challenge I do IA, Dungeon Trifectas or vet Raids with a matching builds.

Since I got plenty of Alts I don´t "need" to do WB quest and usually skip them while I still do the others now and then.

OK They're tough, but I can manage them solo.

I can manage them, but it usually takes trial and error. That's fine though. I'd be disappointed if I could do it easily.

World bosses and should be difficult and require a certain number of players to deal with it if you do not have the right skills to defeat the boss in solo.

I can, but why? They're easier than some in necrom were, but they're generally quite tedious, as others have said, and extremely unrewarding for the time spent. If I show up at one and nobody else is around, I usually cancel the daily quest and find something fun to do.

they arent too hard, i agree some of them have mechanics that can hurt but are easily avoidable if your paying attention

i think 5 of the 6 WB have invuln phases of some kind of which is very annoying, 1 of those even has a partial heal which just makes it a huge slog if your on a lower dmg spec

I do the 30/30 WB achievement ASAP after a chapter comes out, while there are still players at the WBs (though with Gold Road, I sometimes had to wait for someone to show up). Once I've got the achievement, I might do some WB dailies when there's a zone event but otherwise I never touch them again.

My HA pet sorc and my Templar can both take them down with his help, having said that if he does carpet I can still finish them off. 🙂

i prefer help with these, but not sure if i need it:
- Spinner Urthrendir from Fall's Glade
- Stri the Fate-Eater from Broken Path Cave

Been able to do the ones I've tried solo without too much trouble, but that's not the same as wanting to take the time soloing them.

I haven't attempted to solo any of them, but I don't have a super-powerful build with super-powerful gear, so I doubt that I'd be able to solo any of them, certainly not without dying many times while trying to learn their mechanics.

It probably depends on the boss, I usually do the one with the 5 recollection. I use my heavy sorc and he does them fairly easily as long as I pay attention and buff up. Templar probably does fine too, arcanist, not sure. Sorc is my go to for harder solo stuff since that shield is nice and templars lack it.

Is that because you're struggling to kill them? I'll likely get laughed at by the 100k+ DPS squad for suggesting this but...

Take two heavy sets, sergeants mail and either crimson twilight, leeching plate, or baharas curse. All divines with health runes. Add oakensoul, go in with a couple of dots and start from there. As you learn the mechs and become more comfortable with your build, swap one heavy set for a medium set. Honestly, the heavy self heal sets make it feel like you're cheating.

I can pull 40k dps wearing crimson twilight, oakensoul, and Gloom Graced. Not a lot of damage, but I pretty much never die.

The only one in Gold Road that gives me trouble on this set up is the one that heals from the shiny slimes. I have to time my ultimate and blastbones just right, or he takes forever.

Stri the Fate-Eater (Broken Path Cave) - No, not with its continual stuns followed by Death Ray.
Thorntooth (Centurion's Rise) - No way.
Spinner Urthrendir (Fall's Glade) - No.
Hessedaz the Baleful (Fortune's Bluff) - Maybe, but only if doing more damage than it regenerates.
Recollection Leaders (Frontier's Cradle) - No.
Oakenclaw (Lake Olo) - No.

Except against Hessedaz not only do most of my toons die at least once even in a PUG of four lvl 50, some even manage to TPK all of us in one blow.

I've been able to solo about 70-80% of world bosses pretty reliably until last year. It feels like since Necrom they've massively upped the health, damage, and irritatingness of mechanics to make it as unsatisfying as possible.
