Frame Rate Drop When Harvesting Mats

Did this get added with the last update or did I just not notice it until now? When I go to harvest the node I appear to be at 60 fps but when the list of items in the node is onscreen it seems to drop to 30 fps.

Please revert this immediately, The energy savings for such a tiny moment in time is not worth the hit to visual performance in the game.

I am not using any of those customized actions, just the default animation.

This makes me very angry, I pay for a sub and get this degradation.

I’m on PS. No add-ons, no options to turn off anything.

It’s the sustainability feature I’m guessing.

I was dropping to 18-20 frames whenever I was in any sort of combat for the last week. I have no clue whar nonsense they are up to

In my case this is entirely repeatable.

I wear a stealth set while harvesting, so I am crouched and in stealth while harvesting. When my character kneels to pick up mats, the frame is a smooth 60 fps but when standing up (when the node contents are displayed and before I take them) it slows to a stuttering 30 fps.

This is my best guess since there is no way to tell frame rate on console.

This comes under the eco mode ZOS enforced with the gold road update

When the ‘take item’ menu is up, you’ll notice the world itself has dropped to 30fps.

If ZOS wants to reduce my settings while I am afk that is one thing. I should get 100% performance while I am playing the game.

Agree with you OP, it's bad that there is no option to turn this off on console. At least on PC we can change the settings files.

Thanks for mentioning this. I commented initially about the inventory frame drop but have added the part about harvesting.
