Just to clear up any confusion, Jess commented on this yesterday.Hey all, we'd like to remind you that we do not condone or advise datamining. As a general rule, we don't comment on datamining because ESO is huge game, we are constantly working on things and moving things around behind the scenes, and just because something shows up in the data is no indication of when or how we will use it. That said, we will occasionally make exceptions and this is one of them.
As we've noted before, we agree that the availability of Luminous Ink is lower than we'd like, and we are actively looking into ways we can improve that. Ensuring Luminous Ink drops off of boss monsters was one such step - this is live on PC and going out for console servers in tomorrow's incremental patch. What you see in this thread is another step. We are preparing to add Luminous Ink as a Daily Login Reward (not to the Crown Store) at some point in the future; keep an eye out for our usual Daily Login Rewards info each month.

not according to that post, its not going to be in the crown store
Literally do any other content, sell the items from that, and BUY ink. Having ink be a rarer material fuels the economy and gives you a reason to do things like full clear dungeons... now any time you go into a dungeon you can ask for a full clear and people will oblige instead of trying to speedrun; if we go back to having nothing to farm for people will do nothing but speedrun for dailies again.

no, im not wasting at least 60k+ to experiment making a skill i dont know if it will feel right in my build
not to mention buying ink does not progress achievement for collecting ink, which is also important to me
the drop rate from enemies and nodes is so bad i dont even try to farm it anymore, its a massive waste of my time, last week i went 6 days before getting an ink drop, this week im already at 4 solid days without another ink drop, if i dont get one today, that will make 5 days
if im literally only getting 1-2 ink drop a week doing the activities i enjoy in game, the scribing system is basically dead to me

Literally the fundamentals of an economy, someone provides something you yourself are unable to obtain, either due to luck or not participating in the correct kind of content, and you provide them currency (gold). Do the things you enjoy and sell the rewards from that. It's no different than farming. Sure the achievement won't prog but all it is is a random achievement in the game of which there's tens of thousands of other AP to get.
