If Vampire is losing 20% Damage Mitigation they should be buffed in other aspects to compensate.

    As if the skill-line/players werent welcome enough, this is the final nail in the coffin.

    From 30% to 10%, there is now no real reason to want to play as a Vampire aside from Lore Lovers/Die Hard Fans of Vampires.

    I could understand this nerf if SOMETHING was added/given in return but as it stands now this is just a NET NEGATIVE for Vampire Players. Atleast give something unique to Vampirism Stage 4, atleast MAKE wanting to be Stage 4 special in some regard due to the nature of the effects...As it stands now, its like the skill-line has 0 identity and reasoning for being in the game other than "oh well vampires are in the other games so here ya go".

    I hear ya but this problem (Vampires universal in PvP, non-existent in PvE) somewhat resulted from changing a variable in PvP but not PvE: HP Regen.

    There was some logic out there that it should be subject to the same Penalty in PvP as Healing, thing is, in the overall mechanical system, HP Regen was an alternative to Mag and Stam Regen, not Healing.

    Just for more historical background on this issue. Besides unintended consequences with making a change to a variable - or Build Element - within one mode and not the other, there's long been an apparent design goal to let players move between content with little change to the function of their character.

    But, to CameraBeard's point, PvE Monsters don't have forum accounts. Undeath was probably OP there too but your opponents can't express themselves.

    My solution would be a system like "Battle Spirit" from Cyrodil PvP be added to Battlegrounds and the like. Only this system affects Damage Mitigation Caps as well as other factors OR alternatively redistributing the 20% vampires will lose into stats that make it worthwhile to be at Stage 2/3/4 now since the previous incentive of "Undeath" is being taken away with no alternative being given.

    That’s because they were but blood for blood, frenzy and even mistform were already either nerfed or changed long ago. In Greymoor vampire was genuinely broken op in pve

    Yah, because no one is going to complain about surviving stuff they shouldn't in PvE. That doesn't mean it's not too powerful there too.

    I used Vampire when I did the RTA of veteran Vateshran Hollows in PvE.
    "Blood Mist" in Solo PvE is great, and can ignore the gimmick of the last stage.
    Also, after activating "Blood Frenzy" on the back bar, you can return it to the main bar and equip "Oakensoul Ring" to maintain this buff.
    "Eviscerate" is a strong spam skill for gank.
    "Vampiric Drain" allows you to build up player ultimate quickly, but it can be ever hard to take advantage.
    "Mesmerize", this is terrible.
    "Swarming Scion" is one of the best ultimate in PvP.

    I would be fine with the 30% coming back only when the game time is night and during the daylight vampire take 30% more damage from all attacks.
