King Casimir - Bloodthorn assassins quest bug and fix!

ESObtst_Grig
After you fixed the crates problem , i went to the palace. when i got inside the quest broke, i wasn't in my quest log any more but the action went on, Captain Aresin was with the king ,there was the fight, the king fled up and i saved him from Verrik but the quest was missing from my log. So after i went out of the palace to my surprise i could retake the quest again from the good Captain !! So i accept again , go to Sasana , go find suspicious cargo , and again be sent to the palace. But once you get in there is no fight only the king waiting and the quest step is Talk to the King.

As i was posting this and redoing the steps, it was my 3rd time i restarted the quest.
What do you know IT WORKED THIS TIME ^^ but i had to restart 3 times. after it first broke.

So if you read this and you have problems i am afraid you need to restart till you get it right , relogging won't help and going in and out neither.

If it's bugged go out of the palace abandon the quest , log out then log back in, take the quest from the captain and once you get inside the palace if the fight won't start , do it all over again.

ALSO DON'T FIGHT THE ASSASSIN AND FOLLOW KING CASIMIR UP THE STAIRS, YOU ONLY NEED TO KILL VERRIK.

Good luck!

If you play DC, there are two quests you need to do. You should do the 'save the king' quest because then the npcs in Daggerfall will have more positive emotes when you are in their range. The other quest to do is the 'follow the dog' quest. If you don't do the dog quest, the shrewish woman near the tailoring/blacksmithing station in Daggerfall will keep grumbling about "that damn dog." When I first started playing the game, I wished there was a way to flag npcs so I could nuke that npc. :)
