Funny Companion Reactions

I love some of the random reactions different companions have when you do something with them around. For example:

Using the Werewolf Lord/Lady polymorph with Ember. She says, "You're doing this to spite me, aren't you? You stink." She says nothing when you transform into a werewolf, or if you use the Werewolf Behemoth Sigil, though!

Throwing a mudball at a random person with Sharp-As-Night. He says, "Hit them again for flinching!" (those of us with sadistic siblings can relate, LOL)
Crafting coffee with Azandar. "Ugh - bean stink!" That's just funny. Or, picking mushrooms: "Disgusting!"

I'd love to see what others have experienced with their companions!

I'm most amused by the random admiring comments at "striking locals", especially if they do not fit the place - which can be quite dark at times. Like Bastian saying "The Divines were in good mood when they created this." at the Endless Overlook in Coldharbour, or Sharp commenting "This is a beautiful place, I wish I could stay here." at the Dres Farm near Mournhold (not sure about the exact wording in English as I play a localization, but this is the closest possible translation).

I laugh every time Azandar says, “Couldn’t we take a portal?” Then, I invariably reply, “No, Azandar, we can NOT take a portal because you don’t see fit to conjure us one and even though every other apprentice mage and even non mages all over Tamriel can seemingly conjure portals at the drop of a hat, this person who has faced down Daedric Prince year after year for the last ten years, saved Nirn on more than one occasion, who holds the highest rank possible in both the Mages Guild and Fighters Guild, etc.etc., can NOT conjure a portal.”

I agree - I've had Bastian say, "I like visiting places where things have happened...even if they were sad things." Definitely a dark statement.

LOL - I did see him say that when I did the same thing! I think he said it with the Cadaverous Assassin polymorph as well...I'll have to test it out sometime.

LOL - same here! I always think, "If you want a portal, conjure one yourself already!"

His disdain for the Psijics is also apparent when you loot a Psijic portal...he always has something snarky to say!

I and three or four other players are strolling about, looking for some Big Bad nearby, most of us with a companion active.

A tiny, lone goblin just happens to respawn at the wrong place at the wrong time, right in the middle of us all. The entire makeshift gang pounces on and instantly trashes him.

As the little guy’s corpse drops to the ground, Bastian proudly calls out: “That’s how we do things in Daggerfall!”

I love it when companions’ comments are by chance exceptionally fitting! Bastion was on point yesterday while going through the Mages Guild questline (in a spoiler tag just in case anyone hasn’t done it):

In the Shivering Isles, Bastian chose a quiet moment to confide why he dislikes cheese. I think it was not too long after I’d refused Sheo’s offer to chat and have cheese with him.

Upon arriving in Eyevea, primed with Shalidor’s praise of it and then finding it somewhat bleak and overrun with daedra, “Magical places are always so beautiful and inspiring, well most of them anyway.”

Good idea, recommend wall of elements and impulse My templar now has an combat pet 😺

But my favorite was the sweeping bug, interacting with an altmer lady at Thormar in Reaper March who is using an broom this as in using an broom their default idle animation in Reaper March who was funny and having them copy npc at places would be nice.
