West Weald Leads stopped dropping

I am no longer getting any leads from world bosses, mirrormoors and haven't gotten one from reward boxes for music box.
I run dailies 9 times a day, killing 9 world bosses that have at least 3 leads dropping from any of them and still nothing.
I open 27 reward boxes and none of them had lead for music box this far.
I have done this for past 5 days systematically, and several times before starting to count.
Last time I had lead drop from wb or dolmen was during launch day.
What is wrong with this, why are they not dropping anymore?

I have done more than 100 daily quests and didn't get the lead. I'm sure that is bugged for some accounts.

That lead dropped yesterday for me. It did take a lot of boxes.

got it today, but it is known leads are dropping vert rarely. Like it's so obvious, the devs must not do them or they would know it's beyong reasonable chances :s
I farmed 95% of all codex entries, played over 9750 hours, but now I prefer to just wait until Filer Ool sells them so I play something else :/

I have the same issue, I got almost all the leads immediately (maps notwithstanding but I got a few) but this music box lead that is supposed to drop from the dailies or the one boss in left wheel trading post is just insane. Usually the daily quest ones are the ones I get first, and this is the last one I need to complete it.

I do not believe the devs play the game, which is too bad for the game since they don't face any of the frustrations.

They massively upped the drop rate of 1st lore entry leads for Gold Road (75 - 100%), the 2nd and 3rd entries then revert to the older drop rates.

Typically, leads from daily reward coffers only seem to drop after getting all the other leads, which makes sense given some are on daily crafting writs and would get messy.

All that being said, with regards the WW music box I am on the 2nd iteration and have opened over 60 daily coffers after collecting all the other 4 leads and have not had a drop. That could be indicative of something wrong, or just a poor RNG - given I recently had 82 kills on Timbershade to get his lead drop I'm more inclined to believe it is the latter.

Yes, the drop rate on that music box lead has been abysmal for me. I did those dailies on three characters every day for 8 weeks, plus some extra if I grabbed a zone pug. I still don't have the music box. I gave up and disengaged from the game until the next event. Mission accomplished, I guess. 🤷‍♀️

Maybe the intern that hands out the leads is on vacation?

Dig up all the leads you have in this location.
It is more likely to fall to you almost immediately after you dig up all the clues in this location.

Several of my friends and I have had this experience. For several weeks, I personally did not get a leads from the dailies , although I did them on several characters every day.
I was advised to do what I wrote above. The leads fell out immediately.

I can't know for sure if this is 'how it is' or it was just a fluke but that has been my experience too.

First 'round' of leads (until completing the antiquity in question) with the exception of the music box lead that drops from dailies (which was more akin to the usual drop rate) was unexpectedly easy to acquire.

After that the leads seem 'business as usual'.

Said that I got the antiquities 'out of the way' before the first incremental; I have no idea whether they have touched the drop rates since or not.

The moment I realised that the drop rate both for leads and for the fragments in the PDs was inordinately favourable I got that out of the way pronto, just in case they changed their minds.

For the first few years the devs for sure played the game. We'd even see some of them in game occasionally. Those were the good ol' days. Like you say, it sure seems like the devs don't play ESO anymore judging by the communication level about many issues and so many of the apparently out of touch changes made to the game recently.
