Launcher won't what? If clicking on play does nothing but grey out the button, your virus protection/firewall is blocking the program. Right now webroot is the largest offender. Disable it or add an exception.

I had the same issue. I press play in the launcher, it spins a bit, and play comes back up. The game does not run. I disabled Realtime Shield under Webroot, and the game runs. I did not have this problem during Beta or since release on Sunday. I put in a ticket to Webroot.

the point was, to get the launcher to do anything, bethesdas answer is to make your system totally unprotected.
