Other with event questions in the thread, we'll get those questions answered over the next few days, so sound off below if you have anything specific you're looking for an answer to. Thanks!

    1. Archival Fortunes: Does the discount on all in-game currencies apply to these too?
    2. Doomchar Plateau: Fragments for all 2021 collectibles are now available from Philius except for this, which is the hardest to get because it requires 5. Will it also be available, and if it was missed, could it be added?
    3. "Honest Toil": The option to complete "Honest Toil" by purchasing from Guild Traders was left off from the announcement. It's probably too late to bother changing that, but it would have been nice, especially considering what's been happening to the Guild market recently. Any boosts would be appreciated.

Thank you again for giving us so much lead time on the announcement, and especially for all the advance notice on dates!

Edited to remove question about Doomchar Plateau, as I double-checked all of Philius' offerings, and realized they're not all from 2021. So I'd guess they're going to cycle, and people will have another chance to get Doomchar fragments.

Is it intentional that the filers were left out from the discounted vendors?

@ZOS_Kevin just wanted to see if there have been any updates to this question before I go wild buying scripts for my alts :) Thank you!

Still really saddened by the throttling of writs / master writs. I do understand the move away from unlimited, but I really think it should be by character, not by account. And after all the discussion last year this feels like "We heard you, but we don't care. Your style of gameplay is not our priority." 😥

That being said, I do appreciate the advanced notice of the event. Thank you for that. I just can't find myself getting excited about it anymore. It went from my favorite event to something that just makes me sad to think about.

I guess I should check the News & Website Article Discussions more often. Bad timing on my part I did all my master writs two days ago to clean up inventory space.

If it helps in the future, we usually find out it’s coming in the next few months because it shows up on PTS. So keep an eye on the patch notes!

Can we please get some more options on things to buy with event tickets? Like maybe more unique furnishings we could purchase during each event? I like that there are spooky furnishings for sale during the Witch's Festival, and cakes during the Anniversaries. I want these kind of options during every event, not just occasionally.

I have no interest in the 2nd Quarter personality, and little interest in the Dragoon costume style (will never use it), so I have no real need for Event Tickets until (maybe) the next event.

I’m not a fan of all the Molag Bal themed stuff either, but at least we have a lot more options than in the past — fragment collectibles from previous years, guild commendations for companions, group repair kits. I certainly wouldn’t be unhappy with even more options, although then there will be the people complaining that they can’t buy absolutely everything all at once…

It would have been nice to know in advance that if you get the boxes from pickpocketing/safeboxes, that you can't launder them. I wiped out an entire allotment of laundering in no time from having to empty the contents and then laundering.

I get in the bad habit of only checking the general forums. This event does explain why all the provision master writs I put in guild store sold so quick. I priced them to sell even without an event. I do have plenty of treasure chests for the daily as I was just starting to do surveys and maps as the 2nd part of inventory clearing.
After that will come deconning gear I haven't used in over three years.

Pretty sparse on chests this year. Only one for daily writs? Not even 1 per kind of daily crafting writ, but 1 total!

Since the great nerf it's only been one per day per account per type of master crafting writ. I think normal daily crafting writs were always only one per account, the way we got so many boxes the first time this event ran was the master writs.

Maybe a solution: Could companions please count as in a guild with us? That would allow anyone to gain ZoZ boxes through gameplay, and not just the guilded.

PS: @FlopsyPrince I think you misread my previous post.

If anyone cares about the details - Archival Fortunes are NOT included. (Nor are writ vouchers. Writ vouchers have never been included.) In fact, the help file on the event specifies very clearly that affected currencies are gold, alliance points, and tel var.

Apparently leaving out archival fortunes was intentional.

The event that was supposed to be for crafters but was nerfed to be yet another kill world bosses event. The nerf to the crafting writs really should be changed back.

I am really disappointed by the event. It's the one event that's supposed to be crafter oriented and it's nothing more than another zergfest on the world bosses and dolmens.

Not sure which reply, but sorry if so. My most recent one prior to this was disconnected to anything before it.

I have just noted very few chest. Coordinating with guildmates is not my strong suite either, but that would only get me a few more each day.

Far too limited to really matter. At least I am not being pushed much, but getting unlimited chests for guild group events only is quite limiting.

At least give a chest for each type of daily crafting writ (not master writs) each day, not just a single ticket.

Cheaper purchases doesn't help much since I have almost all I need from vendors. Inspiration is worthless since all my alts are maxed level crafters. Most also know most traits, for what its worth.

I solo most of my time, so grouping is not attractive nor compelling.

About as much value as a weekend PvP event for me.

Biggest disappointment however is that this is touted as a "crafting event" yet benefits crafting so little.

There really isn’t that much in the boxes, sort of a lesser version of the jubilee event. I’ve gotten some blue provisioning recipes for alts and some small amount of currency. It’s a nice bonus for master writs I was building up to do anyway, but nothing worth grinding for. I’m not complaining, I went all in on Jubilee and I anticipate doing so for the chapter event and Witches festival — there’s lots else to keep my busy. Plus, the 10% discount on gold, AP, and Telvar vendors is much appreciated! :)

I only dabbled in the Jubilee event. I am getting some motifs I didn't already have and a few recipes for my main. Many recipes to spread around though as you note.

This. Unlimited coffers from killing stuff but very few from crafting. It's a zergling event.

One thing I noticed this year with the event, the timing is horrendous...

Last year, 5-10k items listed in traders sold like hotcakes. 100s of thousands of gold make last year just selling 10k items for the tickets.

This year, the new 14 day window for guild traders has effectively ruined that opportunity with the event.

Anything listed for the next week and a half more on console is completely a waste of a listing fee because people have to go through 10 more days of listings to get to newly listed stuff.

Honestly, if the change to 14 days was so necessary it should have just applied to anything listed already and reset the trader times to the new standard.

Gotta be honest. I just can't bring myself to participate in this event.

I still haven't quite recovered from the Jubilee ZergFest, so my stomache just isn't in it for another one. I did try though, but flashbacks of the Summerset Geysers reminded me very quickly why I stopped participating in those. I tried the other non-zerg aspects, but the Pickpocketing quickly went out the window when your daily allotment for laundering is consumed within an hour or two. Daily and Master writs are finished within 20 minutes of logging into the game. All in all, it just isn't fun for me, so I'm just not participating.

I really would like Zos to come up with some kind of Non-Zerg mechanic for these events. Like the old mechanic before One Tamriel (that is still there today for some unknown reason), where mini encounters would pseudo-randomly spawn and attack players that were significantly overlevelled for the area they're loitering. Just adapt that mechanic into encounters that can pop in any zone where a passing player or players meet the criteria for the event. That would prevent zergs because the encounter would be over before a zerg could assemble to address it.

But I did buy all the extra-expensive houses I was waiting to buy. So I guess I am done?

@ZOS_Kevin Why are we still getting the imperial city key fragments from the zenithar event that were made into generic keys years ago?
I don't even know if its possible to get enough of these keys anymore to open the chests once.
At least they should be dropping the keys that are currently on the IC/ IC dungeon loot table.

the keys we get from Zeal of Zenithar aren't fragments, they're just imperial city vault keys that open specific vaults.

as noted they are full keys, not fragments

theres 8 different keys, 6 go to vaults in IC, and 2 go inside the dungeons WGT/ICP
