Is Skingrad better than Leyawiin? I have toons that don't need the stable master parked there for daily crafting writs, and for those who still need to work on their riding skills, it's Vivec.
I'm not currently logged in, just curious as to how Skingrad compares to those cities. TIA!
Agree with @Davvy123 about Vivec.
I did daily at these places and liked it:
Vivec = The best if you don't need outfit station and you don't have ESO+, you have bank in the center of crafting area even with Outlaw! Stable master with wayshrine few meters away.
Rimmen City = Outfit station in the crafting area, stable master and bank little bit aside from way to deliver.
Leyawiin = Crafting area inside house, so more loading screens but outfit station in area, stable master and bank near. Only stable master outside city
Alinor = Cozy crafting area with outfit station, stable master and bank little bit far from it but ok.
Solitude = Crafting area little bit worse, two door for half of crafting writs but outfit station, bank on the way to deliver. But Stable master outside city.
Rawl'kha = Everything on big area but technicaly everything near in the way through crafting, even Outlaw
Elden Root = Bank and outfit station on the same floor inside big tree, stable master outside
Skingrad = I've tried a couple of times in Skingrad, but I haven't developed a system to make a round and deliver.

with Leyawiin it seems you are thinking of Gonfalon Bay, because the Leyawiin crafting area is definitely outside

the writ boxes aren't a struggle to interact with compared to Leyawiin.
plus they're inside the crafting area instead of outside

Actually, Skingrad has stables reasonably close, just as accessible as with Vivec City.I've visited and tested Skingrad's crafting writs setup, compared it with Leyawiin and Vivec, and have concluded that:
1. Skingrad is the top choice for picking up the daily writs, crafting them, and turning them in. The bank is not too far off.
2. Leyawiin is second choice, for close proximity of the writ boards, crafting stations, and turn-in crates. The bank here is about the same distance away as in Skingrad.
3. Vivec is best for baby toons who still need the stablemaster (she's just a quick ride up the road), and also has a banker within the crafting area.
As Skingrad became my 1st main character's daily writs hub, I immediately went and purchased a room there. It's great for instant recall to the city, but unfortunately can only accommodate 2 storage coffers. I'd hope it would be like Snugpod, which I set up with a full complement of 8 storage chests, 1 of each of the 7 basic crafting stations, a banker, armory station, and outfit station, perfect for doing master writs and quickly delivering them nearby. Lastly, Snugpod is just a stone's throw away from a rebels' sanctuary, perfect for occasional sessions with my Thief/Assassin 2nd main toon.

I tried Skingrad this morning and like it, but I think for my main, I'll stick with Leyawiin. I'm used to it and my favourite vendor and dog are there. But I'll move any alts that are still training their horses to Skingrad. That's the one thing I never liked about Leyawiin - having to leave the town to get to the stables.
