    I don't care if I die.

    I don't have a "Meta" build.

I know what I can and cannot do in PVP and play to my strengths when I engage.

I still have fun, tonight I had "fun" for several hours, I may have died a lot but hey that's just what happens!! :)
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

That’s wonderful! And if you’re feeling your non-optimal build isn’t up to the task, then you can always Google an optimized, “meta” build. You’ll likely find this more effective in said setting! :)

The bar swap issue that's been around for years is thw worst thing for me still. But I really get tired of playing after seeing full health bar shields, damage being taken down to 5-10% and then watching those health bars go all the way to 100% and then fully shielded in half a second when you have 3+ people attacking them. Ball groups though, that's a whole other issue that really pulls every bit of joy I have playing pvp. Same blue group jumping through AD vs EP fight, trolling their way through every keep as an invincible mob.

It's the ball groups with so much shield and heal stacking, along with RoA that are sucking the fun out of Cyrodiil now days. No doubt about it.

As more and more time goes by without ZOS doing anything about heal and shield stacking in groups the less and less confidence I have in their competency.

As someone who regularly runs in ball groups I will say there is a particular faction that makes all ball groups look bad.

There is kind of an unwritten rule that ball groups don't stack (unless it's like a we are about to be gated for the rest of the night situation). One faction in particular loves to stack 3 ball groups on top of each other which kind of kills PvP for everyone and just puts a sour taste in everyones mouth.

Don't get me wrong... I love stomping on some zerglings/pugs and love a good GvG but there is nothing fun about face tanking 3 ball groups over and over and over and over.

For people complaining about ball groups its very simple. Get yourself a group and just ball group back, a lot of effort goes into these so called ball groups which includes farming sets, mythics and being on voice so you've got good co-ordination. Only then for people to come along and whine that they're getting toasted, I just don't understand.

Me personally I don't PvP but if I did I'd want to ball group because it looks fun killing all the daft headless chickens.

Most of the players complaining about ballgroups do not want to play in a ballgroup and ruin other nonballgrouplers fun like ballgroups ruined theirs.

How does the effort going into building a ballgroup make getting farmed by one less unfun? It just excludes players with not enaugh time for this effort

As a nonPvPer you probably never got farmed by a ballgroup and experienced how unfun it is but still insult ballgroup critics as whiners and headless chickens that you would like to farm yourself.
Why should balllgroups stay unnerfed for a player that does not even PvP?

Competitive team PvPers don't want to play in ball groups either. Note how ball guilds keep having to consolidate and share players. For all its power, it's a boring strat and there's not much you can actually do with it.

Running 3-4 smallscale, I still get the power fantasy of killing larger groups, and my strats aren't limited to "ball." Big zergs will still kill us or send us scattering, casual randoms still get their wins (and have said we're fun to fight).

I agree here that the main problem isn’t Sorcs or ball groups. Working together is part of the point of any PvP gameplay.

The issue plaguing PvP in ESO is mitigation, 100%. And the problem is growing because more and more players are building character classes that can take advantage of the issue.

The way the mechanics of mitigation have been employed results in some builds being able to stack various sources of mitigation into the same category and be near invincible; and this is before any persistent healing.

Mitigation is a major issue in PvP because it breaks the basic concept of “risk versus reward” in build choices; also, it’s not something every class and build can take advantage of so you don’t have reliable counters to stacked mitigation.

This is why we’re seeing players in PvP just taking high damage output abilities with almost no impact. There are visual cues to shields and healing abilities but what many of us are seeing are players that continue to simply attack while high damage abilities and Ults are dropped on them and they barely take a scratch.

Of ZoS doesn’t wake up and fix the mitigation issue it won’t be long before the PvP drops off even more.

Listen, nobody minds a loss or even a bad round and we even get there are times when we’re on uncoordinated rando teams; you’re going to have a hard time .. that’s not what we’re talking about here.
