The Mosaic Skill Shards are a 1/day drop per account.
It seems like ZOS is substituting grind time for new content to keep players in game.

As far as I know, you just need 50, not 500.
Except that the forum grinders want to force their playstyle on everyone. Whatever happened to playing how you like? Successful F2P games like Warframe allow the grinders to grind, while adults with responsibilities can pay to skip the grind. Everyone is happy. Meanwhile, ZOS is obligating us to spend hours and hours "earning" something we already spent $40 on. Wasting time alone in an MMO doing chores for bots, a gross insult to a customer's time and money.derkaiserliche wrote: »- Some players want everything grindable within 3 days

So to be honest it was pretty balanced this dlc:
1. Open dungeons drops, scribing skill farming and skill colours are very easy grindable within some days
2. Ink has a low droprate, so the skill crafting is meant to be a long term goal and needs effort
So you guys dont need to moan as soon as you dont get what you like after 1 week of playing the new dlc.
You got 6 ink? That's 6 more than I. I only gathered ink as quest rewards, nothing else. The drop ratio is ridiculous.Quethrosar wrote: »1) ink, tons of play time I have seen 6 ink drop, never from mobs. And we need 500 for black skill ?

Being more on the hardcore PvP end, I've been slogged through the Script grind a few hours a day. It's a godawful boring gaming experience, not worth $40. If the Scribing system was immediately available, I would've instead spent every minute of free time on ESO and bought clowns. So it actually made me play and spend less (and kinda hate this game).
There is no need to cater to the no life grind crowd, their concept of "earning" content is just as obsolete and irrelevant. There is no merit proven, no product made, no service provided, just wasting your time alone in an MMO doing chores for robots. When you work to earn $40, that $40 should buy you the content you paid for, not a bunch of asinine time gates and inane daily chores that are mostly loading screens and wet toilet paper overworld mobs.
