I am not even done with Indrik and am seriously debating whether they could pay me real money to finish all of them the first time. Forget doing it again.
I'm glad I experimented with the system on the PTS before and didn't find a single Scribing skill that I really wanted to use on one of my characters. So I don't feel the need grind for Ink, quickly get all the Scripts nor unlock Scribing on all of my characters.
That said, I still find the low drop rate of Ink a bit annoying. While I get that ZOS wants players to spend as much time as possible in ESO, I would've preferred it if Ink wouldn't be necessary for Scribing at all. I can imagine that people would've enjoyed experimenting with all of the different combinations to their hearts' content. As it is, I guess that quite a few players will just google "Best Scribing skills" and go with combinations other players suggest instead.
And being able to buy Ink from Guild Traders isn't really a great solution imo. Especially for players without a lot of gold buying all of the Grimoires is pretty costly already, and the prices for Ink might stay relatively high for a while too. Having more gold sinks might be nice, but I'm not sure if a Chapter's Big Feature should be a gold sink itself.

It's a real grind, but most of the mini-stories were pretty engaging. Far more enjoyable than closing a bazillion time rifts.

What's your overall take on the chapter?
How's the Scribing?
Is the ink drop rate that atrocious, is it meant to be that way?
I ask because I've thought for a bit now on buying the pre-purchase bundle, thinking "well a new trial and scribing does seem like a good investment", but seeing the feedback from the PTS is making me think twice.
I imagine ZOS will make adjustments to the current concerns, hopefully. If not, well.. sheesh.

ttc says it has no info on it so it must be worth millions!
all scribing stuff is account bound, except for the luminous ink

Those should be curated if you’re learning them as you go.

There are also some alarmingly childish sections that wouldn't be out of place in a toddlers Animal Adventure Cascade game with a talking fox and giant jellyfish (netch) that are voiced like a cross between Bugs Bunny and Wile E Coyote.
And I thought that I was the only one who had this impression...

also i put it up for sale for 1 mil gold just so you can go buy it
Careful, you might get hired. A whole DLC of just repeating decade old overworld quests? And those chumps will pay money for it while telling everyone else to git gud? It's not just the time commitment, but that they're demanding us to do repeated chores. Daily time gated. The absolute worst "content" corporate AAA gaming has to offer.SilverBride wrote: »As long as all this takes I think Scribing could have been its own DLC.

Well....default skill line is far more better than crafted scribing skill.
Still not getting ink to drop. Made and played with 4 skills. Ran out of ink. None are quite where I want them to be. Maybe 6-8 months after release of Gold Road when ink is 1k each I'll be able to play with a system I bought 2 months ago.
"Over 4,000 combinations that we can't wait to see what the community come up!"
The ink rarity still sucks.
