Was the spam filter addon for me. Not sure what to tell ya.

Click the add-on option on character selection to make sure - couldn't hurt. As mentioned spam filter had a readme.txt and license.txt file causing issues. It's been updated.

i cannot get the character selection, basically i have been playing all this time from an external usb3 hd and this must have caused the problem, i am in now i had to copy the client to my local disk and to do that i had to delete every othergame gj zenimax.

Oh and I have no addons to remove. If ben or dom could reply with more detail as to how they found or deleted licence.txt or readme.txt would help. Were these files under addons via char creation screen or did you locate via pc folders/directory?
