Game Crashes Upon Character Selection

EDIT: Nevermind, found the solution to the problem. It seems somehow that the game added 2 new addons without me being the wiser. The 2 addons were Readme and Licence. Disabling them seems to fix the issue. If I may enquire, why were the 2 addons added to game without my permission? It'd be fine if they were working alright, but in this case they were causing the game to crash.

So yesterday I could not play the game because the NA server was down for the entire day (I'm from Singapore, GMT +8 here). No worries, I thought today I might get my ESO fix, but apparently after patching the game with the latest fix my game is refusing to go past the character selection screen.
Every time I select my character and hit Enter, it crashes with the same report. I have tried repairing the launcher, running the game as an administrator, turning off my antiviruses and firewall, but nothing seems to be happening.
Please advise, thank you.
